This review has to do with the fact that I bought this a long time ago when our kids were young. A few weeks ago, I was conversing with my brother because he was complaining about how much his wife was spending on soap for their He asked me whether we still bought the same things. I told him we did the same thing. That's what he said they were going to buy. The question I asked was "How much is a week without having to get up in the middle of the night to comfort his son because he scratched himself up so much he was bleeding worth to you?". His response was, "Yes, fair enough. This is what I understand. ". There will never be another time when I complain about the price of this stuff. He sent me a picture a few days later of the soap that he bought on sale, which I think was over 100 oz.
MUSALA is the best. There's no comparison. There's nothing better than the smell of Mustela, I mean, there really isn't? Some of the reviews of scent complaints are confusing to me. This is the ONLY wash and cream I can use on my baby without it causing a rash. It seems I keep returning to this brand without fail, regardless of what I try. The smell is so good that I use it on myself now as well. Oh. . . and Mustela has been a B Corp since May 2018 as well as being the first French dermo-cosmetics company The first cosmetics company to become a Certified B Corporation! All in all, it is a good news story.
My toddler has been crying and I've been searching for a shampoo that won't cause him to cry. It stings every time I use Burt's Bees, Cetaphil, and Aveeno. There is no question that Mustela is the worst stinger. Uncontrollable screams drowned out all else. Companies that claim to sell baby shampoo and soap are tear-free in this area cause a lot of tears in the end. A natural baby shampoo that does not sting is still on my wish list.
My baby is too young for this scent, despite the fact that I love the smell. It looks like it is more likely an age thing, and something he will get used to (hopefully). After bathing him in mustela, he gets a weird red rash. I think it is due to a sensitivity to something in the ingredients list.

Since I was a baby, this has always been my favorite baby body wash. The only one I found that doesn't leave a sticky residue on my daughter's skin is quite expensive, but I like it because it doesn't leave a residue. My sister in law went to Paris and brought back Mustela products for me when my first baby was born. I then switched between Aveeno and Aquaphor. This is my favorite scent and I've been using it since I discovered it. Now that she is 2, her daughter is doing well. We still use Mustela even though it is five years old.
