Although it isn't shiny on the skin, it appears to be quite realistic.
On the skin, it is not lustrous. The realism with which it appeared on my skin was incredible.
Because all blood products contain highly pigmented red dye, they will almost certainly stain the carpet and other fabrics. A hardwood floor, on the other hand, should be easy to clean.
It appears to be wet and viscous at all times.

My long black dress was topped with a velvet black cape. Last night, we had a Halloween costume and party. On my way to the dining room, a lady noticed me from afar and had to approach me to see my face and hands. We were all adults, and I had blood dripping from my mouth and wrists. So I didn't scare anyone, but a lot of my friends were unfamiliar with me. It was a lot of fun, and it was easy to get rid of with soap and water.
My daughter dressed up as Eleven from Stranger Things for Halloween, complete with a leg gash. She had plenty of blood to practice with as well as for the actual costume. There's still a lot of food on the table. It appears to be real, and it stayed on for several hours before she washed it off. I expected this to be terrible (as most Halloween decorations are), but it turned out to be quite enjoyable. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
Great product! I used one and a half pans of blood for this image. It's super sticky and takes a long time to dry (which I don't mind because it looks more realistic when wet), so it can get a little messy.
I am completely enamored with this material! It's a tad more than the blood from the stage. Even though it's a small container, it's jam-packed to the point where it overflows when I close it, and a little goes a long way! Of course, it's extremely sticky, but it's easy to clean up and won't stain.
It did an excellent job, in my opinion. Even though there was only a small amount, it covered a surprising amount of ground. The only drawback is that this product does not dry completely, so I had to seal it with a paint sealer because it was still sticky in some areas and would get color on me unless I used a paint sealer.
Because a little goes a long way, this is a fantastic buy that will last. It's thick enough to add its own texture, so the area around the "wound" doesn't need to be built up as much. Although it cleans up well on the skin, it will stain fabric.
I got a quarter-sized tin of white face paint in the mail. No blood. This was part of a gift for a talented makeup artist, and it was disappointing to see them open the incorrect item. There are no refunds available. There isn't any way to get your money back. I don't think it's a good idea to try it.
It's very sticky and if you're not careful, it will get everywhere; additionally, clumps don't dry, so it will stick to and get on things, particularly your hair. However, it appears to be quite attractive and realistic.
