Selected User Reviews For Mehndi: The Art of Henna Body Painting
In addition to that, I really enjoy learning about the history of this cultural artifact, which is, from what I understand, female centered in nature, which is neat to know about, especially the purpose of use in celebrations and to mark special occasions. In regards to the henna technique, while I have dabbled in creating my own henna-influenced designs in paintings and drawings, I did not really know what it was all about. I guess it was okay My mom gave me an Earth Henna Kit as a gift for Christmas. Almost everything about it was fine, except for the fact that it did not In order to find a book on mehndi, I looked for a book on that topic. This book is so much more than you could ever imagine! This book contains a lot of photos showing traditional and creative mehndi designs, some history, and specific information on how to design your own - so it would make a great gift for anyone. It is possible to draw even if you've never drawn before with this book. It is easy to see what she is like. It is very easy to learn henna designs from her. The little book is great! This is a great product!.
There is a lot of beauty in this little book, it is quite primitive in its style and explained the process and design in a very clear manner. a number of interesting photos of different designs and large skin applications, and the finished work turned out to be complaint would be that the hand-drawn illustrations and designs are skewed and seem childish at first glance, but since I'm a perfectionist, I simply wished the designs would be more original. As long as it is done with artistic expression, I can overlook it.
The beginner will feel comfortable with it if they don't have any experience. There are detailed instructions on it, showing how to achieve some of more complex looking designs, explaining the history of the design, its meaning, as well as the history of its history. For those who feel they are unable to draw mehndi designs, too, there are practice exercises provided in the book.
There is nothing wrong with it.
