My enjoyment and satisfaction with it depended on how well it worked until it completely collapsed. A few months after purchasing, the skin is peeling everywhere. That warranty is awful and the product is a piece of crap. For them to send me a new one, I need to pay $35 along with the fee to mail it in. Buy it and don't regret it.
As of 1/7/19, I reduced my rating to 1 star because after 8 months of MINIMAL use (3 times per week or less), the coating on the inside of the clamp began peeling off, exposing hot metal, which promptly started to fry my hair. The warranty requires you to pay for shipping your device TO the warranty company, and you have to provide your credit card information to get the unit back to you after 30 days. I hate having to spend money so they can get it back to me after 30 days. There are 45 days left! I find this outrageous for a curling iron that costs a lot of money but is DEFECTIVE. For just a 1/3 of the price, I am going to try Mr. Big curling iron! I gave this original review a 4 for my rating *It is still early for me to decide whether I like this curling iron or not. I've got fairly thin and fine hair with added extensions, which needs a curling iron with a strong spring so that my hair will not slip through as I curl it. Despite my extention, there were still some threads that slipped through, but I managed to work around them and I am pleased with the results. When a curly iron is heated evenly, as I did at 280 degrees, everything is smooth and even. Additionally, I like the extended barrel length since it will work with long hair as well. The pictures were taken two hours after the style, so I chose a loose wave curl instead. It turned out to be a good.
There are plenty of features and benefits of this curling iron, including a non-catching barrel and heating lock that doesn't tangle hair. The curling iron won't change your life, but it won't change the game either. I personally still get split ends even with a protectant that contains every copolymer it should (contrary to the study Ionic did) and my curls will not last nearly as long, and my hair holds curl well with just a little twist. It would be better to save over $100 by going for a trusted Hot Tool instead.
For the past few years, I have been working to grow out my hair, so now that it is so long, I thought a long barrel iron would be nice! My experience with this one has been somewhat limited so far, but I do have a few points to share. The length and the fact that I like to try something new motivated me to try this one out for the first time. I have mostly used Hot Tools irons and have always had good results with them, but I wanted to try something different. "I don't know what it means when people say that curling irons don't hold a curl", since I never understood it. Doesn't that have something to do with the type of hair you have, or maybe your products? Doesn't matter what kind of curling iron it is, it's still a curling iron, Since I had previously used titanium curling irons all my life, switching to this material made a real difference for me! In the following pictures, my hair is curled after I curled it. After letting the curls cool I ran my fingers through them (as I always do when I style my hair) to create some waves. As with my past Hot Tools Titanium iron, I currently use the same products and technique, although this one has already caused the curls to fall out. The temperature was 390 even when the fan was on! Taking advantage of the extra long barrel seems like a great idea at first, but it did feel awkward at first since I am used to using I also feel as though the clamp doesn't get a good hold on my hair as I would like. The tip of the pen is nice, I like its shape As I curl my hair, I find it very easy to hold.
At the end of the day, I will return I cannot justify the high price tag of this iron since I have to curl my hair every day when I could curl my hair with my other Titanium iron for a week. Curling your hair once between washings is fine as long as you use a good heat protectant. I also go between seven and ten days between washings, almost always air drying, and curling my hair once together.
This is a nice iron, it heats up quickly and it Although I feel that this iron doesn't hold curls very well, I prefer the standard curling There are approximately 10 curling irons in my collection, and I have this particular curling iron in two sizes. So I am not prone to reach for this one often. Though I am a fan of this one for its long barrel The iron has something that not all irons have! Since my hair is currently shoulder length, I will likely make more use of them when my hair grows out (it is currently shoulder length).
That's so cool. She did my hair really quickly using this one, and it was amazing how quickly she was able to do my long, thick, abundant hair! She told me what type of treatment was done because I had never had my hair done so fast! She gave me the information, and I was sold! The last time I had my hair done it took me an hour. My 15 minute project took 15 minutes! This straightener will do a great job on my hair! The other straighter I have is a professional one, and it's incredibly expensive, however this one works way This seems to be something I would have liked to know about long time ago It is just what I was looking for!.
As soon as I press the power button, the screen blinks and goes back to being The temperature is turned off if I press the temperature adjustment button. I can get the temperature to "lock" and stay on by following instructions, but it goes right back off when I'm done. This is such a frustrating situation. We're going to have to go back. It is not the same iron at my sister's house and she does not have the same problem. It is unfortunate. It is impossible to know whether I was sold a refurbished item, but it does not.
It only allows you to produce two or three curls before it shuts off and you have to turn it back on to bring it back to temperature. The curls are excellent and I enjoy using it, but it is annoying having to turn it back on 4 or 5 times before I am finished. A replacement has been requested and my review will be updated after using it.
