My hair is naturally curly/wavy as well. First and foremost, I do not straighten my hair. I also have great curls that don't frizz!

It is entirely dependent on the type of hair and the products used. My hair is fine, but I have a lot of it, so it holds up well for me. My hair was a little rougher when I got it because I didn't use conditioner. I played around with the third largest curler and no product in my hair, and the curls lasted until I went to bed. So, from around 2 p.m. to whenever I went to be, which was around 11 p.m.

Given that you get 5 wand heads for less than $35, I feel like many other reviewers were giving it a bad rap. They're all functional and secure in their positions. The handle has a low-cost feel to it. You must take care of the wand and store it properly in order for it to last. It's not made of high-quality plastic, and the area between the release buttons and the bottom of the wand gets extremely hot, making it impossible to touch while doing your hair. I'm concerned about the temperature settings. I used setting 2 when I first tried it, and it gets WAY TOO HOT. I can't imagine anyone on this planet being able to use setting 2 without their hair being fried. Setting 1 gets hot enough, and because I take care of my hair, it can usually withstand the heat. I wish it had a temperature gauge on the side so that I could be more safe and certain of how hot it is getting. Despite the drawbacks mentioned, I would recommend this product because the curls created by each wand are very pretty.
It's also great value for all of my different barrel sizes, but it keeps my hot barrel slip out of sight, as it will not lock when I twist the curling iron, so I need to be really careful while rotating the iron in and out of your window while the heated barrel.
It has two different settings and gets hot! I used the thin one for a tighter spiral curl and the medium one for a romantic wave. I was very impressed because it was exactly what I was looking for.
For the following reasons, this is my favorite: br>1) There are two different temperature settings to choose from. My hair is thin, so I needed to keep it at a lower temperature to prevent it from becoming fried. br>2) There is no plastic end; instead, it is round and smooth, allowing the hair to slide off the wand rather than becoming stuck. You WILL NOT be burned if you use the glove. 3) It has a long barrel, so if you have long hair, there will be plenty of room. br>4) The on/off and temperature buttons are designed so that I don't shut it off or change the temperature by accident. Another one I had was badly designed, and I kept lowering or raising the temperature by accident. br>br>As a side note, I only purchased this for the 1 1/4" straight barrel. None of the other barrels are used by me. The curls produced by this barrel are large and soft.
Finally, after years of experimenting with various curlers, wands, rollers, bendy things, and horrible perms to get my hair curly, I've found one that is simple to use and holds its curls. My hair is long and straight, and it is quite heavy. I don't like using product in my hair, but I do enjoy trying out new looks. Some styles fall flat when worn with VERY straight hair. So I put the wand to the test to see how long it could hold a curl for. Previously, after many years and many hours of curling, my hair would only stay curled for an hour or two before straightening out. Even after sleeping on it and washing it out 48 hours later, this gem gave me curls. It's incredible! It's also very simple once you've gotten the hang of using a wand. The heat-resistant glove came in handy, and switching out wands was also simple. Anyone would benefit from it.
I used to be able to curl it without using any hairspray and have it last all day, but as I've gotten older and my hormones have changed, that's no longer the case. Finally, I heeded everyone's advice and purchased a curling wand, and oh my goodness! This was actually effective! I didn't even use a lot of hairspray to keep it in place all day. This photo was taken after spending the entire day outside in the wind and humidity, and it still turned out pretty well. I burned my hand four times and my neck once, but that was only because I had never used a wand before and didn't know what I was doing. However, because the results have lasted so long, I don't mind the burn marks. It's well worth the money, ladies; it performs just as well as the more expensive brands, but without the financial strain. I also like how many different sizes it offers. Ladies, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. br>br> The third photo was taken after working all day without using any hairspray, and it is still curly!.
REVIEW UPDATED ON 8/11/2020: br>br>Would like to compliment them on their excellent customer service. Customer service contacted me right away and offered me a free alternative iron with temperature settings. br>br>I have to give them five stars for their efforts. br>br>I don't usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to warn my fellow ladies and gentlemen. br>br>I believe 374 is the LOWEST default setting. According to the average recommended heat, this is far too hot for most hair types. I recommend a higher heat setting because I have thick hair. I can already tell that this is going to be harmful in the long run if used on a regular basis. The tip is also not heat insulated. br>br>Second, it is not heat insulated. As a result, you'll be extremely vulnerable to burns. Yes, there is a glove, but it isn't practical if you know how to scrunch the curl after removing it from the wand. (Because of my job, I have to do my hair almost every day, and I can see myself injuring myself)br>br>I could live with the second if the tool had heat control. If you're planning on using this frequently, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. It appears to be great in places, but it is far too hot to use on a regular basis.
