Questions & Answers
Yes, it's light for its size; in fact, I'd call it lightweight.
YES! This product has been in my possession for the past three years. 5 years. Around a year ago, the attachment began to fall off, and it has only gotten worse. I've been looking for a replacement attachment but haven't been able to find one. It's frustrating because the blow dryer works perfectly otherwise.
After I bought it, I didn't take it apart to see what it was made of. This is a question that should be directed to the manufacturer.
Selected User Reviews For REVLON 1875 Watts Infrared Heat Hair Dryer for Max Drying Power, Rose Gold
These are the two photos that I've uploaded. The first is with my hair completely dry, and the second is with a diffuser. My hair is fuller and more lustrous. It takes me about 25 minutes to do my hair, but it is well worth it. When the temperature is below 50 degrees, I despise going outside with wet hair.
As a result, I always make sure I have a hair dryer with a power rating of 1875 watts. The power appeals to me. My hair is longish, fine, and thick with a medium curl pattern. This hair dryer was brand new when I opened the package. It was mocked. It was incredibly light in weight. And it didn't appear to be very powerful when I turned it on. I had a lot of reservations. Then I put it to good use. br>br> I was so taken aback that you could have easily blown me away with it. Normally, I'm lucky if my hair is only slightly dry after a few minutes. My hair was 3/4 dry in about three minutes. And that was with the thermostat set to warm! The temperature is extremely high. I still haven't tried using the diffuser. That's also a viable option. It also has a pleasant appearance. My daughter enjoys it because it reduces the amount of wind that blows. It's a little quieter than my previous one (note that I didn't say it was silent - It's a hair dryer, so it's just a little quieter. ) I had my reservations at first, but now I'm not so sure. This hair dryer is one of my favorites. I'm glad I went ahead and purchased it. It comes highly recommended.
This is my first foray into the world of ionic and infrared dryers. Like most people, I noticed that my hair was much smoother after a salon blowout than when I did it at home. Yes, more expensive dryers can make a difference. However, switching to ionic infrared at home will result in more consistent results. It does, in fact, live up to its smoother claims. Although the force of air isn't as strong as the scorching heat I'm used to, it still dries hair faster than traditional dryers. Hair is smoother, and the dryer is gentler on the hair in general. It's a simple model with only two heat settings and options for high or medium blast. The only disadvantage of this type of dryer is that it does not produce a lot of volume; however, for the price, it is ideal. Less volume is a trade-off for thinner strands. If you're only looking for a volume boost, a simple hot air dryer will suffice. If you want smoother, less damaged hair, this is a great way to get your feet wet in the ionic world without breaking the bank.
Which is a big deal in the world of curly hair.
I was in a hurry and didn't have time to look for a low-cost hair dyer. Some of my girlfriends tried to persuade me to buy a $200 hair dryer, and after speaking with them, I had very low expectations. I'm not sure what a $200 hair dryer is supposed to do, but I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it dried my extremely thick hair!.
I replaced my old Revlon 1875 tourmaline, ion, ceramic hairdryer with this after it died after several years. To begin with, this one is considerably larger, bulkier, and heavier than the previous one. Second, it doesn't seem to dry as quickly as my previous Revlon hair dryer. Because it is much quieter than my previous fan, it is possible that it isn't as powerful. I also don't think it gets as hot as my previous one did. I could keep it pointed at the same spot on my head for a long time and not be bothered by the heat. However, if the red lights are intended to be infrared lights with a purpose other than decoration, I don't believe they serve any purpose or contribute to the product's drying abilities.
This was purchased after reading a review that proclaimed it to be the best hair dryer available. I already had a T3, and after a few months of using the Revlon dryer, I returned to the T3 because it simply works better.
