YES! I have wavy hair, so the diffuser is extremely important to me. Like any good diffuser, it emits a gentle scent. When you want to change it up, the attachment fits snugly but isn't too difficult to remove. I hope this information is useful. The ability to choose positive or negative ions is, in my opinion, the most important feature of this hair dryer. Negative ions are smoothing, but they flatten my fine hair. The ones that are positive are those that affect the entire body. making. Awesome.
The black Orchid diffuser will not fit on this dryer as is; you will need to remove the diffuser's inner ring and then push the diffuser onto the end, which will scratch the chrome.

I was afraid I wouldn't like the product because of the placement of the buttons when I first read the reviews, but they don't bother you at all. People are making this product appear to be worse than it is, but all they have to do is stop squeezing the handle so hard and start pressing the other buttons. This is an excellent product.
I like the colors and design of the dryer, but the buttons for turning it on and off, as well as controlling it, are not in the right place. When you move your arm to dry your hair while holding the dryer, your hand moves the buttons - I tried positioning my hand in various ways, but the buttons are simply in the way by default. Also, when set to high heat, the dryer makes a lot of noise, as if something is wrong with it.
On the medium setting, I've been looking for a dryer that doesn't get too hot. High heat causes frizz and breakage in my fine but thick hair. I've used this dryer four times now, and I'm very pleased with it. I started with the medium setting, which was warm but not scorching. I changed to the cool setting to set my style and discovered it was only slightly cool, so I've been using the cool setting to dry my hair and the cool shot button (which is actually cool) to set my style. In addition to smoothing and adding shine to my hair, the ion setting speeds up the drying process. This hair dryer is fantastic.
I have very curly, unruly hair, so finding a dryer with the right attachments was a huge plus for me. It makes me feel as if I wasted my money on company reviews, etc. I'm not sure why I'm the only one who has this problem, but I'm very upset.
I also bought the matching clipless iron, and I have to say, this is the best blow dryer I've ever used; I put off washing my hair just to try it out, and it far exceeded my expectations!.
The only drawback I can think of with the switches is that they may be inconvenient for people who are left-handed.
After returning the first one because it began to melt after the first use, I received a replacement. I used it three times before it began to melt. I have short hair that I don't leave out for long periods of time. This is a dreadful item.
Except for the placement of the buttons, I like everything about this hair dryer. It's a disaster for the right-handed. Because that's where your hand has to sit while you're trying to dry your hair, you're constantly hitting the different settings by accident. Everything else is great, but this is enough to make me want to toss it and get a new one. If they moved the buttons around, I'd get the same one all over again.
