Although this is a fantastic product, it is worth noting that Aveda sells it for a lower price. The Aveda, in general. The cost of buying a unit on the internet is $25. If this product was eligible for Prime, I might be more understanding, but it isn't. The price difference of $37 is significant.
This clay is one of my favorites for several reasons: It has a medium hold, which means my hair can move without breaking the hold like gel, and it has a matte finish, which means my hair doesn't look wet all the time. Because I have fine hair, I only need a few dabs to keep everything in place, and because it doesn't glue my hair to my head, I still get plenty of volume. If you're in the middle of a project, I highly recommend the Aveda Grooming Clay if you have fine hair and want to achieve a matte side-part hairstyle with minimal upkeep. br>br>It's a little pricey, but one pot lasts me a long time, so it's not too bad. It is possible that your results will differ.
It's perfect, it's simple to use, it stays put, and it leaves very little residue. In this regard, it's ideal. br>br>Unfortunately, it has an unpleasant, almost caustic odor. very sharp and unpleasant, like the worst hair salon smellbr>br>If they could just get rid of the smell, it would be perfect. br>br>.
This product allows me to sculpt my short/medium-length wavy hair to sweep back from my forehead and stay in place all day. It has a pleasant scent and is simple to use and clean. A little goes a long way with this, with one tub lasting me about three months, if not longer. I used to use America Crew grooming clay, but this product easily outperforms it.
For a short time (maybe 10 hours), I like this product, but by the end of the day, it appears to have lost its effectiveness and may even make my hair look worse.
I buy this styling clay for my son all the time because he has that super high hair doobr> We've tried a lot of products and this one works great at keeping his hair up and in place. br> It doesn't turn flaky or oily when dry, and it rinses out super clean.
When you need a quick fix, this stuff comes in handy. Even for thicker hair, it has a moderate hold with a low shine. It does have a scent that is similar to tea tree oil-based products, so if you don't like that, this grooming clay may not be for you. It doesn't have a particularly strong odor to me, and it fades quickly after use, but your results may vary.
If your hair is fine, the clay is ideal. It is, however, extremely costly.
