It was two weeks ago that I purchased this product. My excitement was so great, I spent a lot of time researching the product and all of my friends In the past, I was used to using cheap curl products, as I couldn't afford more expensive products, so when I decided I could afford it, I decided to start a new routine with more "expensive" and "GREAT" The first time I washed, I didn't like it at all. As I was washing my hair, I could FEEL that my hair was sopping wet and it was dry as if it had been in the shower all the time. That was one of the strangest things I have ever witnessed. Though I decided to give the conditioner a try as well. There was thick, very pasty substance in it. It was necessary for me to continue putting product in my hair every day because my hair is very thick, and it requires a lot of product to cover it. After getting out of the shower, my hair had dried in just 20 minutes (air dry time), which is remarkably fast considering it usually takes 2 to 3 hours to dry. A hairbrush should be used to dry the hair for 8 hours. It is common for a new product to turn a curl into a wave after the first wash, and I chalked it up to when my hair was used to it before washing again. After one week, which is fairly normal with hair, By day 3 after washing, it seems my curls (waves, now that I've used the product) were laying flat. As usual, my curls usually stay curly for a week or so after I wash them. It's time for me to try again. After the first washing, I noticed that my hair was extremely dry all over, so I snapped a second photo after I realized that I still had a substantial amount of dryness on my head after washing. While washing, it felt dry and crispy even as I was literally wet in the shower. However, after I rinsed out the shampoo, it became so tangled that I had to use conditioner and a wet brush for ten minutes in the shower to get them all out properly. As soon as I get out of the shower, I notice that my hair has literally lost all its curl. There is no telling how much my bangs have puffed out, my ends look FRIED, literally fried, (see photos) and after two washes, I only have 1/4 bottle of If I spend a lot of money on a product, I expect some results, not to have my hair absolutely destroyed. In order to restore my hair to its former glory before I tried this product from hell, I am considering cutting off my ends, but I must try countless moisturizing treatments for dozens of months. My money is already gone and I do not want it back at this point. To get my hair back, all I need is a little bit of time. There is a lovely scent coming from this! Also, I use this product to detangle my hair in the shower. I comb it through after it dries, however, the look of my hair changes as my hair dries. You can see it is thirsty and parched thanks to that! While other reviews say it has left their hair amazing, I find it to be irritating! I highly recommend it. The last time I wrote the above was about six months ago. Although I have been trying some others because people told me about them or they had good rave reviews, this is still my favorite. Despite these limitations, this is by far one of the best products I have textured hair, it's not dry nor do I have flyaways, but it's Yeah, i guess. The only way for curly gals to get all that in a conditioner is to use 2 or 3 times a day. In any case, I'm here to order more, and I've placed orders since my last review. What I don't understand is why there is only one product on the market. Well, I'll simply stick with this one. Where are the rest? The impression is rather strong.
As of late, my hair (3c) has been pretty dry, particularly at the ends, so I've been thinking about trying a shampoo and conditioner that will really moisturize my curls in the shower and make them easier to brush through. Because the product I received did exactly the opposite of what it was supposed to do/how it was described in most reviews, I believe I received a defective product. Almost immediately after applying this moisturizer and spreading it throughout the bottom half of my hair (which was the driest part), my hair felt even drier than It was worse when you tried to brush through it. According to the reviews, I expected the brush to be slippery, making brushing more convenient, but instead I found it to be comparatively harder. I got out of the shower and felt the ends of my hair, though I had detangled it all (which was quite challenging I went through a lot of conditioner and the more I got in the way made it worse) and, even after soaking wet, it still felt incredibly Since I saw a review mentioning the same experience that resulted in damage after 2 weeks, I am returning it right away. it's worth mentioning that I have not only bought this product but several others from Ouidad as well. We were rather impressed with the performance and smell of this product. As you can see from the image, the gel detangled better.
It's a shame that I have to color my hair every few weeks, because I have fine, naturally curly hair. As a result of my dry hair, this conditioner is just perfect for me. I prefer the consistency of this product, but I don't find that it weighs my hair down like most Ouidad products do. My favorite thing about Ouidad is its music! In my experience, I have never been disappointed with any of these products.
This conditioner will quickly resolve your hair's dry problem if you tend to have curly hair. It has been leading to great results for me for more than five years now. The following tip may be helpful With a heating cap, however, it works just as well as a deep conditioner, better than Ouidad's $$$$ deep conditioner, at least to my mind.
There is no better shampoo for curly hair than this! It is now a greyish brown that is warm in color. This one was purchased after the frizz control one was no longer This conditioner seemed to be doing a wonderful job of conditioning my hair without weighing it down. I wasn't sure whether it would be too much for my level of curl. There is a pleasant smell to it that isn't too overpowering.
