Coconut is an appealing smell if you like it. I found it to be entirely dehydrating. No matter how much effort I put into prepping my hair, it still feels like straw The product must be conditioned before being applied. There's no way to tell if I received a faulty product (how would you know) but regardless, I wouldn't recommend it. Has a similar effect on the skin as well, but cleans off.

I love how it smells- This smells like coconut and actually lingers in the hair for a while, which is nice. It moisturizes the scalp well and is great for dry hair. This product also lasts a long time since it foams up a lot, so it doesn't need to be used I have extremely sensitive hair and my scalp is dry and itchy all the time. This was my first time going to a new salon, so I was a little nervous. A couple of weeks ago, my hair specialist and owner used this product on my towel dried hair after my shampoo. A marble-sized squeeze of this was run throughout my hair from bottom to top and left in, no rinse out required. It was a breeze for her to comb my hair after a good conditioner and wash on my head. It always stings my head to comb it after washing it, so I was in shock. There are some parts of my hair that are very thick and wavy and tangle when you look at them incorrectly. I was instantly taken back to my trip to Hawaii when I smelt this. At the hotel I stayed at on Maui, there was a shop where you could buy shampoo that smelled so fantastic. Although I didn't like the smell of it, I had extremely bad hair with it. My hair did not suffer from this at all. I was even able to brush the product into my hair and let my hair There were not many traces of the scent lingering in my hair after washing, which was very disappointing. I was not a fan of this product, but it may be good for someone else.
