I read reviews where some people thought the smell was overwhelming, but for me it works just fine. I spray it at night and for a few minutes the smell is overpowering, but then it dies down and you only fine, dark hair I can't wash every day without causing it to dry out and this product is exactly what I need to reduce oil, give my hair a thicker look, and not leave behind a sticky white residue that other dry shampoos leave behind.
