As far as hair products go, I personally favor the texturizing varieties since they give me more At this moment, this is my top choice For the price point, dry shampoo is a great alternative. As far as I can tell, the only negative aspect of it is that it smells very strongly. There's no bad smell (a coconut smell so you smell like a baked good IMO), but it is quite As well as this dry shampoo, NYC makes an unscented regular dry shampoo that I also like, but this one is my favorite.

I love the smell of it. The white residue that generally occurs with most dry shampoos was not present on my dark hair. Powder doesn't seem to coat my hair, it feels clean. I used to love Tresemme Volumizing, but I love this one far more. In the before and after pictures, we apologize for the strange facial expressions.
Coconut has always been one of my favorite scents so I appreciated the scent, but if you don't like the smell of coconut I wouldn't buy it. As far as the smell is concerned, it does not really linger in your hair, but it is definitely coconutty in smell. Anyway, as for the product, I love it. My hair will never smell of Batiste again after using this dry shampoo. I used to think white residue on the scalp was just something that happens when you use dry shampoo. Now it's no longer a problem for me. How's that for a surprise? That's not the case. have always had an itchy scalp that always appears to be flaky and has tons of buildup. It's fabulous, I bought it on a whim and now my scalp is more vibrant than ever. Though I must disclose that I also switched to a "deep clean" shampoo shortly after switching to dry shampoo, so that didn't seem to make as much of a difference. Secondly, if you spray this too close to very oily hair, yes, that will leave you with a white cast. Is easy to rub in and doesn't cause my hair to look gray (that is important to me since I am a brunette). You will not get white residue if you spray this from a distance and use it proactively. This is really great to spray the night before you think your hair will be greasy, so if it is, it has all night to soak up any oils on your scalp. After I spray it, I will leave it for a few days. All because of this stuff, I can go four days without washing my hair. It is true that my hair not only feels dry by day 4, but also feels rough. While I'm in graduate school, I'm counting on this dry shampoo to keep me from looking like a disheveled wreck every day. It actually appears cleaner to me when I use this product than when I'm freshly washed! I am also happy with the price.

In comparison, let's compare this product (NYMBB) to my long time favorite dry shampoo brand, Batiste. I thought to try something different this time but will not In my case, I had to spray a lot of this product into my hair to get rid of the glossy, greasy effect of Batiste. On the plus side, both Batiste and this product add some texture/ volume and do not weigh the I suppose that longevity is also the same for NYMBB, although it is a bit cheaper and the bottle is larger than Batiste, but I used a lot of this product. I also didn't like the taste of this on my hair (it reminded me of baby powder). The one thing it has over Batiste is that it doesn't leave nearly as much white starch on the hair after several sprays (although that may be needed to absorb the oils and make hair look like it has been washed the same It is my hope that my review and reasoning will also be somewhat helpful for your own purchasing decision.
