This provided a pleasant tingling sensation as well. If your hair is naturally dry, don't avoid this product; instead, invest in a good conditioning hair mask and apply it before or after the conditioner, depending on your preference. I do it beforehand to make it easier to hydrate. Apply hydrating leave-in creams while you're out. Butter cream by "As I Am" is one of my favorites. Because of the drying effect it has on ethnic hair types, I would not recommend using this product every day. I'd like to see the manufacturers develop a product that moisturizes ethnic hair as well, or even a dry hair mask. Even for Caucasian hair, I would put a pea-sized amount of oil on my palm, rub vigorously, and apply to the entire head to keep the flyaways from looking like over-permed 80's curls. Overall, I gave it a 4 star rating because of the overdrying effect it has (on any hair type), but Caucasian hair should get a 5 star rating from the conditioner. Would I buy it again? So far, the answer is yes. I always go over everything again. After a few months, take another look. I believe this product would be appropriate for a review on my YouTube channel, so I may do so. I'd like to know if this product actually works. So far, after one wash, my honest opinion is that I would buy it again.

It will take at least three months for you to see results, but you will. High- My husband's hairline was beginning to show signs of stress from his job, and this made a significant difference. The important thing is to keep using it as a preventative measure as well as using the foam for the system.

I'm a long-time Nioxin 3 user, but this time I decided to order Nioxin 5 shampoo and conditioner based on the description. (I have white/grey permed hair-- there is no color. ) I like it a lot; There does not appear to be much of a difference between 5 and 3, but with the quarantine still in effect, 2. I've been waiting for my next perm for 5 months. (If the perm has a significant effect, I will return to edit this review. ) ) Overall, I believe my hair is hydrated with both Nioxin numbers and does not feel heavy. And, while it doesn't get rid of my itchy scalp (it's just itch, not dandruff), it works better than other shampoos I've tried. I don't normally purchase high-end cosmetics, but I believe these are well worth the money.

I've used Nioxin before and am familiar with the product, but the bottle I got was completely watered down and tampered with. It was as if it were *water* when it poured out of my hand. I'm returning this item to Amazon and have recently purchased a replacement bottle from Ulta. It has a thick, conditioner-like consistency. I'll be contacting Nioxin directly to suggest that their bottles be fitted with safety seals.

6 As a Critical Care nurse, you run the risk of being splashed with blood or contracting Hepatitis C from a patient. When they told me they were going to give me Interferon and warned me that it could cause hair loss, I decided to do everything I could to avoid it. One of them was using this conditioner, etc. It really helped, and I'll say it again: it really helped! My hair loves the System 6, and I had minimal hair loss. I've been cured for nearly 5 years and continue to use it. This is the shampoo/conditioner system to use if you're worried about hair loss. I'm not going to change my mind.

For more than ten years, I've been using Nioxin System 1 products. For my hair type, they've outperformed everything else I've tried. br>br>I'm happy to report that this conditioner has the same minty goodness that I'm used to. br>br>I was concerned about a counterfeit after reading that it was happening on Amazon. I even went through the negative reviews to see if any of them hinted at a fake product; for example, if they say it's watery or different than it used to be, that strongly suggests a fake or tampered with product. That was the case with a few of the reviews! If you're interested, you can look up amazon counterfeit on the internet. But, to cut a long story short, if you've been using this for a while and get a product that doesn't meet your expectations, you should definitely return it and try again. That was my main takeaway.
