I've used Its a 10 for a long time. Bought off Amazon because of a gift card. I'm almost 100% sure this is fake or at least a mix of fake for The product (which is WAY less thick in consistency) spilled all over the jar and the sides of the lid due to the plastic cap seal at the bottom of the jar. Then there's the perfumed scent, which is HEAVY. Furthermore, it appears as if I used any drugstore brand conditioner. It doesn't have the usual "It's a ten" feel to it. Because of this, I'm hesitant to buy any beauty products from Amazon. This has caused me a great deal of frustration and dissatisfaction. It can't possibly be true! Purchases should be avoided.

Even on my damaged curls, this stuff works like a charm: ) When I rinsed the hair mask out in the shower, I could almost immediately notice a difference. My hair was thick, silky smooth, and had excellent slip (for the uninitiated, "slip" is a curly girl term for how sleek and lubricated a hair product has made your hair). It made later untangling/styling my hair a breeze, and my hair was once again shiny! My curls have returned after several applications (once or twice a week). People always compliment me on how nice my curls look now that I can finally wear them naturally again. br>br>THE HEART OF THE MAGIC: The trick is to leave it in for a longer period of time than recommended on the label- Shampoo your hair, then apply this mask (a little goes a long way, thank goodness), and finish up the rest of your shower duties. I've discovered that ten to twelve minutes is the ideal amount of time for the heat and humidity from the shower to complement the richness of this mask while also drawing a lot of moisture into my hair. Also, and this should go without saying, don't use this product every time you wash your hair because it will cause build-up. br>br>I'm so glad I came across this product; I'd highly recommend it.
The smell of lilacs is overpowering and nauseating in this product. You don't want this stuff if anyone you come in contact with is sensitive to smells. "You smell terrible," my husband, who has a terrible sense of smell and makes me sniff leftovers before he eats them, said from across the room. So, what's the story here? "To get rid of the smell, I had to wash my hair twice. " It's now drier than it's been in a long time. This one is a hard pass.
This purchase had a number of issues. First and foremost, it arrived several days late. I had to contact Amazon customer service to arrange for the carrier to contact me and deliver the package to me. Then there was the fact that the air conditioner had leaked all over the place, which was fantastic. I was even more ecstatic to discover that there had been so much leakage that I had enough for two uses. TWO. I didn't care for the smell when I used it. It was far too strong, and the Silk conditioner was far too heavy; even after I washed it out, it weighed my hair down. It wasn't particularly silky; rather, it was greasy and heavy. I'm going to use the original mask conditioner again because I don't care for this one.

It appears that the product performs as expected. Hair is silky smooth after using this product. I've tried a lot of different masks, including some from salons and some from It's a 10, and I always come back to this one. I'm hoping that with continued use, it will help to repair my now extremely dry and heat-damaged hair. The odor has been mentioned by a few people. It has a pleasant aroma to it, in my opinion. It has a perfumy scent to it. y and powerful, but once washed away, it becomes more subdued. I prefer the original's scent, but this one works so much better that I'd never go back to the original. It is a reasonable cost.
