Before I go to bed, I gently squeeze a very small amount and move it quickly over my scalp, but not every day. Since I have long hair, Both the scalp and the hair are dry. It's never greasy, and it's effective. It doesn't matter if it's damp or dry, as long as it's only on the scalp. When I need it, I apply a few drops of a different, lighter oil directly to my hair.
I've been using the oil for a month and a half in the hopes of regrowing my hair on the bald spots, but no new hair has grown. Is it possible to regrow hair using this oil?

THIS IS NOT A GOOD ITEM TO PURCHASE! I'm angry and want my money back.
Don't squander your money or time. It has a foul odor and is extremely thick. My hair was a dark green/black color that clung to the bleach. It not only ruined my color, but it also didn't work. The bad news is that Sally's sells it, so I went in to inquire about it after my color was ruined. They demonstrated the distinction between what they sell and what I purchased from them. The ingredients are very different, despite the fact that the bottle is the same. This is a poor rip-off! Sally's place is the place to be. Buy the genuine article; it's worth it not to scrimp on your hair, ladies. I do everything myself, especially my hair (I'm trained), but when trying out new products, make sure you read the labels thoroughly. I saved $4 by purchasing this phony garbage. It cost me $45 to clean up the messes it made.
