I've been a hairdresser for 20 years, and I've worked with a lot of men as well as a lot of women who have hair loss. Many of my clients have also been encouraged to see their doctor as a result of changes that I first noticed as their hairdresser. I've bought this brand of Castor Oil twice now, and I really like it! It's worked wonders for my hair since I started using it monthly as part of an oil treatment. My hair is a fine brunette that used to be thick when I was a teenager but has thinned out over time. Especially where my hair is parted in the front of my head. I wanted to reclaim some of my hair's thickness and improve its overall health. I've almost used it (I'm a busy person! ). Since the beginning of 2017, I've done it every month and noticed a significant difference. My hair is much thicker than it was before, and the thinning on the top of my head is beginning to fill in again. This castor oil has a strong scent, but when combined with coconut and tea tree oils, it becomes less so. I apply this mixture to my scalp and hair and cover it with a shower cap for 8 hours. After washing it all out and letting it air dry, my hair is instantly soft and fluffy, and it looks fantastic. My hair was barely past my lower back when I started, and it's grown a few inches since then. It may not seem like much, but my hair had been the same length for years, and I thought it was impossible to grow it longer. br>I've been using Fekkai's Apple Cider cleansing shampoo to combat the problem of getting thick oils *out* of my hair completely. br>If this is too thick or sticky for you to work with, I'll put my (tightly closed! I put the oil mixture in a small mason jar inside a mixing bowl filled with hot water. The oil will be warm and easier to work with as a result of this. br>br>These bottles last a long time; I still have the original bottle I bought in November 2016 with the same contents as when I bought it- As some other reviews have stated, there was no mold or discoloration prior to the expiration date. Ladies and gentlemen, on March 22, 2018, I purchased this product. It's not so much for my eyelashes (though it's good for that as well), but for my hair. When I wash and condition my hair, I leave it in its natural coiled state as a leave-in conditioner. I've noticed that the hair on my head is thickening. I'm on my second bottle of this product. Soon, I'll be placing an order for another bottle. I also use it as a nighttime moisturizer on my face, particularly under and around my eyes. I sincerely hope Amazon does not run out of stock.
Surprisingly, this method actually works to regrow eyelashes! Within a week of using it every night, and occasionally during the day, they've thickened and missing eyelashes have begun to grow.

Warm oil should be applied from the scalp to the tips of your hair, and your hair should never be combed afterward. br>br>Because castor oil has a thick consistency, it may break a few hairs if combed after application. My hair is usually very dry and frizzy. Almost every other day, I use this product. I'll take 3 pumps of this oil and microwave it for 30 seconds to make it less viscous before applying it to my scalp and massaging it in with my fingertips for 10 minutes. Every time I shampoo, I notice that my hair improves. It's become softer and less frizzy. I have also noticed that my hair fall has decreased to 50% and new hair is growing on my scalp and frontal areas. This product is fantastic, and I plan to use it for the rest of my life.

I am very pleased with this castor oil. I purchased it for my hair, and it has made my hair soft, shiny, and most importantly, it has given my hair more body.
