I use it for my head clippers and to trim my hair to my usual "5 o'clock stubble". As far as my facial hair goes, it does not grow very fast, and my job does not require constant For when I _have_ to have a clean shave, I continue to use a double blade razor, but this oil really prolongs the life of those blades as well. After drying the razor thoroughly, put a bit of oil on it, and then put it in a drawer so that it won't be damaged by shower steam. At 14 months old, my current blade is still going strong!.
