The answer is yes. The bulk of my hair is long and thick with a fine texture. However, my back and sides are undercut (buzzed). The product overall works well and is okay on the short part, but on the rest of my hair it appears greasy at the roots. It's fine to use on the beach or in the pool, but if I'm trying to style my hair well I'd hesitate to use it. We do not have to worry about it because my daughter also has a pixie cut with the same hair texture. It is possible that you might not feel as greasy if your hair is able to sustain styling oils. The smell is just fine, and my freshly shaved sides aren't burning, so I think it got the job done.

We like its pleasant smell and it prevents us from burning our scalps. A product that treats this area specifically is nice so we don't have to put greasy sunscreen in our hair all the time!.
I've tried every product. This is the best for me. Unlike some other odor removers, this one fades quickly. It's not greasy or sticky either. I love this.
This product turned my hair a bit greasy, so that was disappointing, but it prevented my scalp from getting burnt.
Not all the clips on the nozzle are securely attached. You can't travel with it as it is hard to pack. Also, the coating on the bottle resembles a wet paint spray. I do not understand how you can hold this bottle in any way to spray it without getting it all over your hands and fingers. It leaves your hands, fingers, or anything else it touches turquoise. It was supposed to work once and then a week later I tried using it again only to find that there was a leak in the bottom of the bottle after two sprays leaving me with a green ring in my bathroom drawer that would not come off. There was nothing salvageable about it and it was thrown into the trash. The packaging needs to be improved, or the product is unworthy of the money.
It had already leaked by the time I opened it, so when I grabbed it, I got the bottle's turquoise color all over my bare The liquid had to be transferred from one spray bottle to another. It made my hair really greasy and the smell was really off-putting when I finally used it You might want to put. My favorite Coola products are all good, but this one is hard for me to get behind.
The use of this was so subtle I didn't even realize it. I don't really see why there is a need to pay that much.
