What do they look like? Are they like regular rubber bands or do they permanently stretch once stretched out?

Wrapping your hair too closely or too loosely does make a difference. I have to wrap the band several times around my toddler's hair because it is quite thin. If I reuse the elastic more than once, I can sometimes get away with it, but if I reuse it a few times, the elastic becomes thinner and snaps easily. There is no doubt this bag will last a long time, and I like the colours.
