A great towel, I would say. My first use of it was the same day I received it. The plopping method works great with it. A stronger loop would make the towel better, but overall I think it is good.

My curly hair journey has taught me that I prefer flour sack towels because they cause less frizz than microfiber. I'm a little disappointed with this purchase. Despite that, it's still a nice bigger towel that I can throw over my shoulders, and if frizz is not an issue for you, it's big enough to put your hair in.

This thicker and larger one I keep at home so I can use the original one periodically. I have the original white one for several years, but now keep it in my travel bag to use when I travel. After washing my hair, I now use the new gray one that is large enough for me to wrap or plop it in after washing it and it really reduces the amount of time I have to expose it to the diffuser's heat because it draws out so much more water in the process. I am in love with.
