The blue stones in my mine are clear.
It has a pleasant feel to it. You can tell it's not cheap plastic because it's not too heavy or slides down from where you apply it. For a wedding, I wore mine. I got a lot of positive feedback.

It's lovely and exactly as shown. It's well-made and durable, and it's perfect for my thick curls. I'm going to wear it to a wedding with a navy blue evening gown.
Work uniform will look festive with this clip. It's sturdy and keeps your hair in place without slipping. Colors are really nice. I really like it, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. This is a fantastic way to style your hair.
I received the clip today and would return it if it were not for a child (specifically, my own, who will only use it once). This is what I got when I ordered the purple. It's purple in color and appears clear until exposed to direct sunlight. It's also a bargain-priced item. I've seen better costume jewelry when I look at it up close. br>br>On the plus side, it was approved by my child for the occasion, and it works with her thick hair, but I wouldn't buy it again.
There was a significant chasm. I'm not sure if hair was supposed to be able to pass through there. It was too tight for me to wear. (It's also a lot of weight!).
Very good quality! This barrette has pleasantly surprised me; it is lovely. Though my hair is thin and it still holds just fine, it appears to be a little heavy compared to other barrettes of its size. Would buy again, but wish they offered more colors I liked.
So, if the quality of the clip isn't important to you, it's a pretty one, and the color is ideal for a lavender-themed party. However, the gem stones are not in their proper places, and if you look closely, it appears to be extremely cheap. Although I understand that this was not going to be handcrafted, it appears to be extremely poorly constructed. I'd say it looks like it costs around 2 dollars, maybe a little more. br>When I get a chance, I'll return this.
This barrett has a great look, but it's very heavy and difficult to work into my thick, coarse hair. Because it's so heavy, it doesn't seem to stay in place very well. It is, however, quite lovely.
We simply wrapped an elastic band around the hair underneath it to keep it from slipping, as some reviewers had suggested. We would have done it anyway because it makes it easier to get the barrette in evenly, but having read the reviews beforehand allowed us to weigh our options.
