Great barrette I use it a lot, it's a bit on the small side but it's still good quality. I have the Tortoise Shell - it's 1 3/8" wide.

I really like this hat because it fits my thinning hair snugly and matches.
It satisfied all my needs and was exactly what I was searching.

My order was received yesterday, and I have tried it. My hair is quite thick, and it worked great for me. This mechanism looks great and feels like it will last a long time. The price is a little above what I usually spend on a barrette, but I know I won't have to buy another one if it breaks, so it's worth it. My recommendation is that you use it if your hair is thick!.
