Without a guard, the blade cuts short but not bald hair, at least on my head. However, the blades are sold in various grades, with some labelled Fine for a purportedly closer cut.
The blade attachment on my peanut fell off when I dropped it. Is this going to be the end-all solution? My wife is also concerned about the alignment. Is there a springtime theme to this?
I bought the blades for a friend, and he raves about how well they work. He doesn't use the product every day, so I'm not sure how often he should change it.
My peanut trimmer was able to use it successfully. However, I'm not sure what model it is.

This replacement is a hair puller to the extreme. It will achieve maximum hair root ripping no matter how slowly you apply it. I've tried everything from oiling to sharpening, but whatever supernatural force is keeping this thing alive will not be stopped. NVM. Without a doubt, no one will read this.
I've been shaving once a week for the past 8 years or so with my Wahl Wireless Peanut. The razor blade head had recently started to come loose, and it wasn't cutting as well as it had previously. I was about to buy a new razor when I discovered that the razor head could be purchased separately. It's a few dollars more expensive in my opinion, but it's still a lot less expensive than buying a new razor! For only $16, I have the feeling that my razor is brand new! It's cutting a lot better now, and I'm making a point of oiling the blade once or twice a month. In addition, I use Energizer lithium AA batteries in my razor, which last almost a year and provide plenty of power.
I shave my head about twice a week with this, and the replacement blades are ideal - It's low-cost, simple to swap out, and it looks great! I don't need much else until the rotary motor dies (or they stop producing these). br>br>Also, with proper care, this is a great solution for extending the trimmer's lifespan, and it's a great value for the convenience. use. In terms of cost - As always, make sure you're getting an official Wahl product; based on the reviews, it appears I took a chance and hit it big. Still, I strongly recommend it, but not at this price; it can be found for nearly half the price, if not less. Make it simple by asking your local barber/salon to assist you.
This replacement was DULL, even more so than the original. I was going to change it out with this one. I'm disappointed that I won't be able to return it, and I'll have to be more cautious in the future.
These blades are so bad that I wish the Wahl Peanut wasn't as good so I could buy something else to punish Wahl for making such a shoddy product. br>br>These things are trash, yes you can use them but they fall off every time even a slight amount of pressure is applied, as seen in my video.

This replacement blade has been a huge disappointment. Instead of a 0, it comes closer to a 1. My 5-year-old blade does a better job. When I turn it on, it gets stuck and I have to give it a push with my fingers to get it going. I've even over-lubricated it and replaced the batter in my Wahl Peanut to see if it would work, but it still gets stuck. I was let down. br>From the moment I unpacked it, I knew it wasn't going to be as good as my original. When I pushed the blade's back spring, it retracted as smoothly as my five-year-old blade.
