As with the OXO wand, this one is slightly bigger and clunkier looking. It also is more difficult to clean because there is no feature to keep the wand open during washing and While it is more durable than the OXO wand, it is significantly less ergonomic because of its size and it is less uniform in distributing flour. Because of the low risk of spilling or opening during use, the container is less likely to come apart. The two different wands are a good way to differentiate wheat flour from rice flour during bread shaping, and it works well enough for me.

As of yet, I haven't tried it with flour or sugar. In the end, I used it with cinnamon and it worked beautifully. The music is great. There was enough cinnamon for two large pans of apple crisp when I took a teaspoon of it. I love it.

This duster has been used numerous times for a wide variety of purposes. The application process is simple, and the amount is just right. As it's easy to return the powered sugar, cinnamon, etc. back to the original container, nothing goes to waste. The one I bought is good, but I wish I had bought it It is very easy to clean and rinse out.
