The lotion is effective in and of itself. It hydrates the skin. If you live in a dry climate like I do, you'll need to apply a lot of lotion every few hours; additionally, I've been using this brand and type of lotion for over 5 years, and perhaps it's just me, but it's always left a GRIMY RESIDUE feeling on my skin after application. For my face and extremely dry skin, I use a more expensive brand of lotion, but this Vaseline brand is the only one that consistently emits an unpleasant grimy odor. ness. It's not a big deal, but I don't like my skin feeling sticky and then rubbing it all over my clean sheets. Last but not least, despite Vaseline's boasting about its "smart pump" design, I can't stand how this bottle cap CANNOT BE UNSCREWED AND OPENED. The top is clearly a screw design (just twist to the left or right), but Vaseline chose to LOCK AND SEAL the screw top after it was closed, making it impossible to open without breaking it. I even threw it against the wall in an attempt to remove the top, but all I got was the top breaking and lotion splattering. What is the point of this nonsense if not to encourage people to buy more bottles (thereby increasing waste)? Seriously, I buy the same product and brand every time; the very least Vaseline could do is allow me to refill its "smart pump" bottle, but no, they make you pay more per ounce for repeat smart pump bottles instead of simply buying bulk of the same lotion and refilling the pump bottles. What a devious strategy to eke out a higher profit margin. Because many recycling centers will not accept products with lids/tops still on, you won't be able to recycle this bottle if you can't remove the cap. It's a waste of money and a source of embarrassment. I'm going to switch to a brand that allows me to open and reuse bottles at the very least.
I'm a nurse, and I wash my hands all the time at work, and they get so dry and red that washing them again hurts so much. My hands are no longer dry or red after just one week of using this lotion. This is a much better alternative to lubriderm.
The formula has been changed, but there is no mention of it on the bottle. I started a new one and noticed a strange odor on my hands that I couldn't place after a few hours. As a result, I assumed it was a new soap I'd purchased. NOPE. The scent has been changed, and it's revolting! On one side, I have the old bottle, and on the other, I have the ingredient list - They've changed drastically (and it's not just because of the scent). If you liked the old stuff, you might like it better now that it's called "soothing hydration" instead of "aloe soothe. " Just. . gross.
It does not moisturize or absorb into the skin. I applied it and went about my business, and when I washed my hands a few minutes later, the lotion was just sitting on top and was rinsed down the sink. I've given my husband a couple of massages with this lotion because I'm tired of it. It does not have a wide range of spread. It's probably due to the fact that it's so wet. I'm a massage therapist, so I'm familiar with lotions. This is a horrible situation. Spend a few dollars more on a lotion that will make you feel good. You'll end up greasy as a result of this.
At first, I was skeptical, but the scent is incredible. It moisturizes my skin and feels very light on my skin. It's not particularly thick, but it's also not particularly watery. The texture is just right for me. This is great on its own, but it's also great mixed in with some homemade body butter. The locking top makes it simple to prevent your nieces and nephews from unintentionally pumping it out to play with or use on anything! This is something I will definitely buy again, and my sister enjoys it as well. I ordered the three-pack, but now I only have two because she insisted on having one.
moisturizer that is greasy but also soothing. This appears to be a similar formula to the one used in 7- It was eight years ago today. NON-NON-NON-NON-NON-NON- NON-NON-NON-NON-N MOISTURIZER FOR GREASY SKINS: If you don't like greasy hand lotions, the "Soothing Hydration" lotion in the light green bottle has always provided a great feeling. Rub it into your hand's skin, and you'll be able to work with your hands right away without getting a greasy, slippery feeling. Apply after every hand wash for fast, effective healing right after the soap has dried. br>br>At this price, you can use it every time you wash your hands without breaking the bank! SCENT: br>br> Vaseline's green bottle lotion is scented with a light cucumber and honeydew scent that isn't overpowering, just like it was years ago. It's exactly right.
For those of us who constantly wash our hands, Vasaline intwnsive hand cream is a godsend! Skin that is dry and cracked. Perfect product with a VERY low odor (not to irritate migraine sufferers or people with a strong sense of smell). It works well and quickly; I've used it for everything from hand washing to walking on the beach for too long (and my feet have dried out). This is a fantastic deal!.
I, like everyone else, suffer from dry skin, especially in the winter, and this lotion immediately alleviates all of my issues. It leaves no residue or feels heavy on my skin, and I really like how it feels. I've been using this lotion for about ten years and am completely satisfied with it. If you have dry skin all year, I highly recommend this product.
