You could fill it up most of the way without an issue, but I wouldn't hold it by the rim (common sense) if that were what you did. Moreover, I wouldn't drop it from any great height or force it to crack since it is rigid, which is necessary for strength, but potentially potentially dangerous. As for the quality, I think it is the best price for the features and the quality is excellent for the price. I enjoyed massaging my feet on the nubs on the bottom of the basin and felt extremely comfortable resting my feet on the molded arch support. Considering that I am extremely thrifty, this item was a great choice!

It's hard to complain about anything. You can soak in it for a long time as it is shallow but deep. In my search for a foot bath with heat and massage, I decided a simple tub would be best.
