You do not realize how valuable something is until it is taken away from you. My foot's bottom half has lost half of its skin - Skin from my upper leg was used to graft the wound. I'm always looking for new ways to keep my feet in good shape. Because I walk in a different way, I have terrible calluses on my foot. Because it protects my graft, the foot skin I have takes a lot of abuse. Because my graft is so sensitive, I've been using an electronic file, but this glass one is FAR better, and I can do a better job because it's manual and the small file allows me to get into hard-to-reach places. Although I've only used it once, it was incredibly simple to hold and operate. It was extremely effective, and if it continues to work this well for another month or two (or longer), I will gladly purchase more. It takes some time to get used to the new feeling. That scraping sensation isn't there. I was able to smooth out my feet. It's more difficult to work with a nail file. Whether or not the benefit is realized will depend on the passage of time.
