Stiff bristles make the bristles look like they're going to snap. However, they are a lot stiffer than boar's bristle (for instance), so they won't scrub off much dirt.
A manicure or pedicure brush like this would not be effective. Suitable for cleaning both fingernails and toenails, it is a great nail brush. The bristles of the brush should be much softer. If I'm using cuticle cream right after cleaning with this brush, I don't want to use it. This may be of some help to you.

A new review has been conducted The first one I got cracked after just a few uses, but the company contacted me and sent me an replacement without any charge, so they certainly take care of it if that happens. It isn't meant for really dirty cleaning and it is hard to hold and use to actually rinse if the brushes aren't designed for it. I have used other brushes that my girlfriend has, but they aren't the best.
