I'm not sure how long they'll last because I've only had mine for a few weeks. Every time I wear them, I put on a new pair. I wash several pairs of underwear at once in a lingerie bag. They aren't particularly appealing to me; I will not purchase this item again. I had to throw away one pair because they were too tight. They don't appear to cover your entire foot well enough.
When you first put them on, there's a slight sliding sensation (though no actual sliding), but that's just the gel being gel, and you get used to it quickly. I'm wearing these on one foot over another silicone gel sleeve to relieve heel spur pain, so I'm walking in them all day, every day, with and without shoes. As these socks are worn and washed, the silicone gel becomes more sticky. You can sprinkle a little baby powder on the gel and rub it in if it feels too sticky.
I just hang them to dry after washing them on the gentle cycle.
Although it functions, the quality is poor.

Every night, I put these on before going to bed. I don't dry my vegetables, and I don't believe you should either. If your heels are dry, they'll love them. Simply apply lotion or medication to your feet and wear socks to keep them moist throughout the night. My heels can't avoid drying out because I live in Florida and wear sandals every day. This worked far better than saran wrap or a dry sock in trying to repair my heels. People who don't know what they're for or don't know what they're doing in general, in my opinion, are the ones who leave negative reviews. They're designed to keep your feet cool and comfortable. They have a gel-like lining that keeps lotion or whatever you're using moist and on your feet rather than soaking into the sock. If you have dry, cracked heels, I strongly advise you to use this product.
These are for my heels and elbows, which I purchased. In these areas, I have a tendency to get extremely dry, cracked, thick, dead skin, which makes my elbows darker than the rest of my body and makes them appear dirty and scaled. I bought these in the hopes of moisturizing my skin, and I used them after my first round of bathing. I went to bed without using any moisturizer with it. Get in the shower first thing in the morning, take them off my elbows, and BOOM, dead skin starts to roll off, revealing soft, normal skin. There was no dark elbow, only dark rolled-off skin, which I scrubbed, washed, and moisturized. Seriously, these are incredible. br>I'm not much of a reviewer, but I'm intrigued by this. br>I'm looking for a way to get a full-body sock like these. This was an excellent purchase.

These are about the same size as a child's - They're too small for my size 8s. My feet are being suffocated by them.
On the same night, I started wearing these socks with 40% Urea foot cream. I noticed results almost immediately- After a week of use, this is how it looks. My toes are incredibly gentle. Regular socks cause me to wake up in the middle of the night, but these are comfortable enough to wear all night. So far, I've only washed them on the gentle cycle once, and they've come out fine.
After 3 hours of wearing them, I noticed that my foot had turned black and blue. I thought I'd hurt it, but the marks on these socks matched the marks on my foot when I looked closely. My toes and the bottoms of my feet were bruised, and they had turned cold. So I figured it out because the socks left a deep impression on my foot. My foot took nearly 30 minutes to get back to normal after they were removed. I wear a women's size 7 1/2 to 8 shoe because my ankles are very skinny. I read that they fit small and are tight, but I wear a very narrow shoe, so this surprised me! I hope this information is useful to someone else!.

Dry healers will love it. Because walking in a full sock is difficult, I prefer this product. These are ideal for dry heels, and they extend all the way down the foot.
