These are fantastic socks. They were to relieve my cracked heels, so I gave them that order. I tried a variety of creams and ointments, but they didn't work for me. Ordinary socks seemed to absorb the cream more than my heels, which seemed to be the issue. The gel lining in these socks' heels made a huge difference. The cracks were completely healed after just four nights of wearing these and applying petroleum jelly. I'm no longer in pain when I walk! I normally wear a size 8 woman's shoe, and it fits perfectly. I believe these would be suitable for the majority of women.

The large gray socks were altered to fit a size 13 foot. The end cuffs can be folded out after the threads holding them doubled up are cut. This allows the socks to fit larger feet by reducing the tension on the ends. This was accomplished with the help of Revlon cosmetic scissors with sharp tips.

Good, well-made product that does what it says on the tin and has already made a difference in my heels after 5 nights of use. br>br>There is one caveat: Make sure you order the correct size; I'm a size 10 1/2 with normal shaped legs. I placed an order for a Large 3 size. Based on their size chart, I purchased a pack for myself and a pair for my wife. She is a woman who wears a size 9 1/2 and has well-shaped legs. They were perfect for her, but it took a lot of stretching by hand to get mine to fit on my legs at all.

They were bleeding and it hurt to walk because the cracks were so deep. I also despise applying lotion and am inconsistent in my application of it. It's a miracle that these exist. They work despite the fact that I have no idea how they do it. They were also a perfect fit for my women's size 10 feet. The thicker cuff goes around my arch, while the thinner cuff goes around my ankle. It's also extremely comfortable throughout the night. My feet don't get as hot as they would with regular socks because the toes aren't covered. br>br>I can't say enough good things about these.

I don't wear shoes very often, and as a result, my heels crack if I don't take care of them. I've tried silicon heal covers, blue and white heal covers, pink and white heal covers, full black socks with silicone heals, and the chemical bag that you put over your feet. My shoe size is 10 for men. All of the socks were too small, with the exception of the black ones. I was perplexed as to why no one had thought of making one for a man of medium or larger stature. The black socks fit, but I don't wear long black socks at night, and the quality of the heals was inferior to any of them (though someone who does wear long black socks might appreciate them). These heal covers are superior to all others in terms of quality and fit. For a medium or large male foot, they are extremely comfortable. Other than that, I'm not going to use anything else.

They aren't super "moisturizing," but they work for him. I was hoping he'd use any of the foot creams or moisturizers I bought, but he's not interested; at the very least, he wears them every night and saves our sheets. I believe it also aids in the healing of his heel skin by preventing it from drying out as quickly as it would otherwise. There would be more if he combined it with some ointment, but not nearly as much. He recently reordered another pack in a slightly larger size for himself after putting these through the wash several times and finding that the gel coating is holding up well. So he's sold on them, I guess.

After reading all of the reviews about how tight the women's socks were, I decided to order these men's socks. These were perfect and comfortable, even though I don't have particularly thick ankles. I'm a 9-year-old girl who wears a size 9 shoe. These did an excellent job of keeping the moisture in all night. During the night, they stayed put. However, the silicone does not completely encircle your heel, defeating the entire purpose. Your heel's bottom and back are both covered in silicone. The silicone doesn't reach that far, and I don't have wide feet, so most people's heels crack on the outside edges.

So far, they've done an excellent job of retaining moisture in my heels. My heels have taken a beating over the years due to travertine tile, but just wearing these around the house has provided a lot of cushion (plus the added benefit of the gel insert to keep the skin hydrated). You don't even need a moisturizer. br>br> Simply put, your heels will not dry out if you wear them. So I don't see the point in using ointment or lotion because it's messy. Wearing these will allow you to stay hydrated naturally. br>br>One thing I didn't realize before I bought them was that they are only hand washable. However, I completed a delicates cycle and have had no issues thus far.
