No, I wouldn't recommend wearing them in the winter as a form of foot protection. These are meant to be worn while getting paraffin wax treatments.

I enjoy getting facials, and when you get one, they put your hands in these little heated mitts, which I bought so I could do them at home. I loosen up my hands and feet and place them in the heated mitts for 20 to 30 minutes, which is extremely relaxing and smooth.
These were purchased as a gift for my mother. She was prescribed a tar cream to treat psoriasis on the soles of her feet, which she must wrap after applying. Instead of using plastic wrap, I thought these would be a better option. They were great, and she loved not having to rely on family members to put her feet in bags, but after only two uses, her feet had become even more red and inflamed. It's probably just because she has psoriasis, which makes her extra sensitive to strange chemical compounds, but if you're in the same boat, be cautious.
They were fantastic for the price, and you can't go wrong with them.
I bought these bags to put over my feet after they had been soaked in lotion. There are no complaints here; they do their job; however, you should not walk around without slippers or slides, as you will slide.
These aren't in the least bit "shaped. " They're similar to lunch bags made of plastic. I was assuming that there was some kind of basic structure.
Refills for my wife's paraffin spa were required. I couldn't find the one she was using, so I went with this one. She seemed to be in good spirits.
Bootie liners and warming booties were required at work for foot massage and facials. Excellent.
