When I remember correctly, I threw out this one since it offered some fragrance but its strong plastic smell made me feel queasy. It didn't contain triclosan, as far as I know. As of now, I buy the paraffin wax from Sally's Beauty Supply.
This cake comes in two portions. Because there was enough wax left over to fill it completely, I used just one. The smaller cake will be taken if the bigger cake is completely empty.

There is nothing good about this product! My husband and I have been in the pedicure business for 30 years, and this is without a doubt the WORST paraffin we have ever used. It does not moisten. It sets up on top of the wax before it cools This whole thing is a DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT if you have heard about my client from it!.

There is one thing I don't like about this spa You have to pay 3 pounds when you refill it. In other words, why do they come in 2 packages of 1 pound each? My package of 1 pound left was so small that I had to reorder it and save it. In my mind, it appeared the package came with a 3 pound weight initially, but I was not sure and there was no info on their website telling you to order 3 pounds. There needs to be a change. It also appears that this paraffin does not do such good a job as the original- There is a drastic change in the consistency of the liquid as it cools. When I order next time, I'm likely to choose.
I needed wax for an important project. There is nothing cool about HoMetics machines - they run much too hot This is an uptick of 136 degrees. Before I could even put my hands in halfway comfortably I had to turn off the machine for 45 minutes.
I honestly think it's horrible. This is not a product I would recommend or suggest to anyone.
When cooled down, you can't remove this wax since it is too hot. A hard surface cracks off when it gets too hard. It's a huge job to pick off all the little pieces. They provided a wax with more oils in it and allowed it to adhere better to the skin. Also, the wax stayed together so it was easier to clean.
