To remove the polish, I wipe it off with acetone polish remover. It appears to be more effective than non-acetone alternatives. It also quickly removes any colored nail polish that has been applied over Nail Envy. After that, I wash my nails to get rid of the acetone residue. I've been doing this for at least ten years, if not longer. I haven't noticed any yellowing, and my nails (which were previously paper thin due to years of acrylic use) are still strong and nearly unbreakable. Nail Envy is something I wear all the time. It improves the strength of the nails.
Yes, as well as Yes. It came highly recommended on one of the blogs that I read. I'm a huge fan of OPI's products. I've experimented with a variety of different fortifiers and strengtheners. This is my favorite because my nails are very thin, brittle, dry, and weak. Within a week, I noticed a difference, and by week two, two of my classmates had complimented me on how nice my nails looked! This is something I've never experienced with my natural nails. I'm very pleased.
Yes! I applied two-thirds of a coat, applied polish, and then topped it off with a clear coat. My polish used to chip after four or five days, but now it lasts two or three weeks. I also buy Hair Revive from a healthfood store, which helps with hair, skin, and nails, and I'm not sure which one did the trick, but my nails are now long and beautiful. We were chipping away at it. brittle in the past I now use it every time I paint my nails and plan to do so in the future. Although a little pricey, having these natural nails is well worth the investment. I'm getting a lot of questions about who does my nails because they're so natural looking. Just laugh it off and explain that it's because they're natural. I hope you will give it a shot, because I haven't yet. I don't believe you'll be let down. Because of all the positive feedback, I purchased OPI Nail Envy and applied it according to the instructions. My soft, thin, short nails began to grow, and for the first time in my life, they are now long and strong! I'm glad so many people rated it five stars. Without the reviews, I might not have discovered this wonderful product, which is truly miraculous. br>br>Update from two years ago. One star has been deducted! Other recent reviews led me to believe that I was mistaken. The formula for OPI has changed. It's been watered down now. On my nails, it does not create the same protective layer. It simply flakes off, leaving my nails in a state of discomfort.
I just ordered my second bottle, not because the first one is empty, but because I want to be sure I have enough when it runs out! My nails were becoming brittle as I approached 60 years of age. I could reach for a plate in the cupboard and pull out a split nail. It's as if they grew in layers, with the top two or three peeling away, leaving a very thin and vulnerable nail behind. They were quite unsightly. I wish I had taken a before photo so you could see what I was talking about. Fishing, kayaking, gardening, woodworking, and home repairs all take a toll on my nails, and it was beginning to show. I bought some and followed the instructions to the letter (two coats the first day and one coat every other day until Day 7 - Remove it and do it again). The difference is amazing after only two months. (On Day 2, I added a thin coat of beige color to hide the fact that I have dirt under my nails all the time! ) I like to keep my nails short because of my lifestyle, but at least they look healthy and there are no splits! For me, it was successful. I hope it is also successful for you. It was well worth the money.

My nails have grown in strength and are even growing. This product comes highly recommended by me for anyone who has difficulty growing their nails. I'm not going to name any names, but I've tried everything. From low-cost brands to high-end ones, there's something for everyone. I'd been let down so many times before that I'd almost given up. I accepted the fact that my nails are weak and that I will never be able to grow natural, beautiful, long nails. As a result, I chose acrylics (which I despise) as my medium. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. I'm a slug. br>br>I'm a slug. I'm not a fan of doing things over and over again, such as reapplying every other day or removing once a week. But I wanted longer nails, so I bought it and followed the instructions for a few weeks. It had an effect. My nails were noticeably thicker and longer as a result of the treatment. br>br>However, I became lazy and stopped following up, as well as failing to remove the items. There was a noticeable difference between the parts of my nails that had Nail Envy and those that didn't after about two weeks - The ones that did were filthy, and when I put them in water (doing dishes, etc. ), they became sticky. I wiped them down with a towel, which resulted in lint on my nails and gross sticky stuff on the towel. br>br>It was a valuable lesson - If you follow the directions, this stuff will work wonders for you. If you don't follow the instructions, you'll end up with sticky nails, which will be a minor annoyance.
It also works well as a base coat for most polishes, but I've found it to be especially useful with OPI colors and topcoats. br>br>I'm not convinced that the negative reviews here caused any harm. The schism The matte versions and peeling nails did not appear to have the same effect. I haven't tried the colored versions yet. br>br>I've included a photo of my (terrible) before and after.
