My 7-year-old asked me what I had used to paint my nails, and I told him it was nail polish. I live in the South, and I made the mistake of showing him what it was. I attended a crawfish boil the next day. I did not have a good day today.
I had to gag every time my 2 year old daughter put her fingers in her mouth, I expect it to work the same with thumbsucking as well.
There's nothing cute about it. The taste takes a long time to leave your mouth, according to my kids. I don't like the taste of it. three boys aged 17, 16 and 10 stopped completely while in the pool. To be on the safe side, I also purchased another bottle in case they fell back into Having experienced it myself, I know how difficult it is to break a habit. There's not a doubt in my mind about this product!
Not at all! I think you'll be washing your hands a little bit every time you wash them. A single application lasted for at least a week, and the taste lingered for some time afterward. However, it was well worth the effort! For me, I found this product to be extremely effective, and I barely had any nail biting after using it for just one little time.

That seems to work. I really like how it works. I might know too much. There is absolutely nothing pleasant about this stuff, and it doesn't wash right off when you wash dishes. Our best efforts are still going into trying to wash it off. Monday was the day when it was applied. The day has now turned into It has one issue that we are concerned about. In a sense, this is a transference issue. The act of switching hands from one person to the other. The parts are. Those parts are made to taste absolutely terrible. It went on for The problem is that it doesn't work properly.
My son chews his nails almost continuously so I bought him this as a gift. The problem was immediately resolved! When I first had to cut them, which was after four weeks, I had to do it again after four.
During the past 15 years, I have been a nail biter. There have been times in the past few years where I have been better about it, but then I fall back into it when it comes to a stressful situation. It has always been a problem for me to keep my nails in good shape. It sounded interesting, so I decided to go for it. Well, I am happy to say that my desire to bite my nails did not fade due to the bitter taste. I was afraid my mouth would get used to it as time went on, but I can tell you it didn't. In the past, I've bitten my nails unconsciously (which happens more often than I'd like to admit). However, once I taste that horrible taste, I back away from my hands immediately. I put my nails on my lips when I am thinking (not biting). It took me a few minutes to taste the bitter taste in my mouth, so we will see how long I can tolerate it. There is a suggestion to apply it twice a day in the instructions, but that doesn't make sense to me. One coat seems to be more than enough for me to get In the end, it starts to peel by the end of the day, but I simply wash it off with some nail polish remover and reapply it. There is only one concern guys might have which is that it makes their nails look shiney. While there is no question that a difference is present, I am not certain how many people notice. However, to my knowledge no one has commented, but it seems that I am the only one noticing it. It doesn't matter to me, as long as my nails are shiny. This is better than ones that have been bit.
Because of the effect it is having on her teeth, I've been trying to get her to stop. Malva was the first brand I tried a year ago, but it did not It was just a matter of enduring the bitter taste until it was all gone and then continuing with her finger sucking routine. When I put gloves on her, they tend to work IF I can keep them on. Lol She knows how to take them off since she is 4 & can be very convincing when she tries to convince you to let In other words. When summer came and I desperately wanted to get her to stop eating and washing her hands so much, I decided to use the nail polish one more time. The one I chose worked to my surprise. She completely stopped sucking her finger after just one week. with that said, I will admit it is a pain, since you must apply two coats TWICE a day if you follow the instructions (as I did). The trick I achieved after applying two coats in the morning and two more after school was to apply two more coats after school. You can give it a try if I haven't painted her nails for a week and she isn't sucking on her fingers!.
When I went into quarantine for Coronavirus, I decided to stop biting my nails since putting my nails in my mouth could mean my life or death! I am here today to say that my nails are looking so much better , I don't feel as if I have to hide them anymore , it has only been about 3 weeks so far! There is no polish on in the second picture because I am trying not to bite them when there is no polish on as well (I don't want to get dependent on it only). The taste is bitter, but not completely intolerable. My mouth is tingling with a bitter taste that makes me not want to bite my nails again, but it's tolerable enough that I'll eventually forget, the taste will fade. There is a period where you need to add another coat every two days, but it's a constant reminder to keep up the consistency! If you are using this , please do NOT eat or prepare food with bare hands, do not rub your eyes, and do not even touch your face if you can avoid it. Great product I highly recommend , this makes for an incredible top coat, and it is incredibly fast drying! In order to paint different colors on my nails, I applied it as a top coat. To not have to bite my nails or hide them because I bitten them was so liberating! I never realized how ugly my nails were until I stopped biting them! My nails are now my favorite part of my outfit.
A new brush for my collection - I had tried liquid under other names and was holding my breath as I awaited to find out if this was the same as what I previously purchased. This is the answer. In a way. In terms of flavor, it's the same, but the Onyx Professional version is less bitter and has a less reflective finish I find that like finishes don't adhere to my nails well. The skin starts to peel off shortly after I apply it, which defeats the purpose somewhat. As I reapply it now, I can say I think it's better than nothing, but it is not as effective as what I've used previously.
If you can handle the taste, it is definitely a deterrent. When your fingers touch your mouth, the bitter taste is mild but becomes more intense over time. It stays with you long enough to make you remember not to bite it The fact that it isn't quite a potent formula as what I bought before actually doesn't bother me too much. Last time, I had a different brand name of something that left a strong flavor in the food I cooked, and my family complained about it. The fact that your nails are not biting is actually a deterrent to biting them. A toddler may use this method if they are sucking their thumbs. There is no charge for it You can become nauseated from this stuff if you keep it in your mouth for more than a few seconds. Despite this, I think I'd prefer this to what I had before if it had more staying power. The fact that it has a considerably shorter life span on my nails simply makes it low on the totem pole.
It looks like this will be a great tool for my three year old son, he has a problem sucking his thumb. A couple of things are wrong with this product the packaging is different from what is pictured, and the bottle does not have a seal. To my taste, the product tastes just like As a parent, I have no intention of using this on my child. This product has a warning on the back that if large amounts are consumed, it can be fatal or harmful. There's no way I feel this is safe to use on kids!.
