It can be used over any color, for sure. With it, I have used french manicures, reds, neutrals, etc., and I have never experienced a yellowing issue. As far as I am concerned, it definitely works better with other Essie nail polish colors. Absolutely no chipping will be tolerated! While it still prevents major chipping with other brands, it prolongs the nail color as well.
