This was such a beautiful color combination. This is a very pretty picture! I learned how to use poly gel for the first time. The only thing I recommend is saving money if you're in college. Using 70% alcohol as a slipper solution is a fun fact.
There are 3 colors of polygel, a base coat, a top coat, slip solution (I used 91% isopropyl alcohol as slip solution), an application brush, a fingernail file and two types of dual forms (10 of each). instructions, however, I recommend watching a few YouTube videos to get an idea of how it works. But other than that, it can be used by beginners and is a good practice tool. The clear polygel is what I mostly used since I like to paint my nails with different colors as you can see in the photos. Do not hesitate to purchase this set if you are thinking about doing so!.
This product has a long lasting effect, and it is easy to use. The book is highly recommended.
I am using polygel for the first time. There were not many tubes in the set so it wasn't a big set, but I didn't use much, so it was fine. As the videos show, it's not quite as easy to spread it out evenly but with practice it'll get easier. I've had them on for maybe five days and none has broken off. Unfortunately, my nails seem to be allergic to something in nail products because, after using acrylics for a while, I broke out around my cuticles and sore spots appeared around my body and face (lack of hydration and itchiness). I am able to take them off fairly easily as I try to remove them.
I never expected this to be nearly as difficult as it was. There were several times I could not get an even amount of gel on my nails My nails were either too thin or too thick I felt like my nails were encased in cement. For a single set, I ended up using three full tubes. There was also a lot of sticky stuff. Because I'm involved in clay sculpture as a hobby, I thought I wouldn't have any difficulties with this but it turned out to be a challenge.
If I can get ten years or more out of them, I may never go back to acrylics.
This product works well and cannot only be used on one area, but also lasts a week and a half with proper preparation. This brush is of cheap quality and the ends just come off when you use it. Every time I open the lid, they just fall off. Sometimes they even fall off if I apply too much pressure while having my nails done. In my tube, there is a hole and the clear liquid oozes out if you don't close it.
