Questions & Answers

What are your thoughts on this brand and its quality?

You can purchase at this price, but I recommend GOBEACE/COM if you want discounts and larger brands. It was purchased by me. The quality has improved significantly, and it is now on sale.

What is this 100% acetone all about it is all about% As if you were purchasing it for commercial purposes. ?

Yes, this is 100% pure acetone with no other additives or ingredients. And, contrary to popular belief, the contents of this product do not change depending on the purpose for which it is being used!

Is it possible to remove dip powder nail polish with this product?

That's exactly what I intended to do with it. My nails had to be scraped really hard to get rid of the dip. Going to the nail salon is a lot faster.

Is it possible to get rid of acrylic nails with this method?

Well, when I had my acrylics removed, they soaked my nails in acetone, so I believe that's all you have to do. And, in comparison to store-bought items, this product is excellent. Personally, I'd take a chance on it.

DIRECTIONS from a regular person on how to remove your GEL nail manicure with this product
5/5

Does a good job of SOAKING off my gel nails. What else can I say except that it's "Pure Acetone" and that's all there is to it. With just a cotton ball, it removes REGULAR nail polish as well. Those of you who say it "doesn't remove gel nail polish well" or "takes like 20 minutes" are mistaken. Here are some tips from a 48-year-old hospital RN and mother of three who is obsessed with not paying salons for her gel nails. For over a year, I've been doing my own manicures at home for myself, my friends, and family. FIRST! br>br> SCUFF UP THE SURFACE OF THE POLISH WITH A VERY ROUGH NAIL FILE (like an acrylic nail file, under a dollar at any beauty store) to PREPARE GEL NAILS for REMOVAL. You only need a few swipes per nail; you don't have to be perfect or thorough; simply scuff it up a little. You can also use a regular nail file if you don't have anything else. You'll want to prepare the nail polish so that the acetone can soak in and loosen it up as quickly as possible. br>br>1) pour about an inch OR inch and a half of acetone into a very small GLASS container (like a teacup or something if you don't have anything else)br>2) place the SMALL GLASS container with the acetone in a small bowl with about 2 inches of "COFFEEHOT" PLAIN WATER in it, let the acetone warm for a moment or two (or not, it doesn't matter)
- > NOTE: If you have any micro cuts or skin imperfections, you may experience a slight burn or sting for a moment or two, but it will go away quickly; just stick it out; it will get better. )br>br>4) after about 7 minutes, check the nails to see if the polish is starting to peel off well (small flecks will be seen lifting outward away from the nail)br>5) if no or minimal flecks of peeling polish are present, soak for 3 more minutes while you continue to drink your coffee. 6) after 7 - reading your kindle (as I do)br> After 10 minutes, place your nails on a paper towel and scrape/peel off the polish with a cuticle stick or a metal nail scraper (much better). br>7) If some small portions of the polish are difficult to remove, soak that nail for one minute longer. br>br>8) Replace the hot water in the bowl with cold water, as the acetone has cooled by this time. 9) Carefully pour the remaining acetone back into the container when you're finished. I reuse the clean acetone because there aren't many "flecks" in the acetone that I find. OH. however, make use of Pour in an area where an ACETONE SPILL can be tolerated. Like, in the sink or something like that. Because this WILL remove the varnish from a table, I always work with newspaper or a couple of paper towels underneath when I'm drinking coffee or doing something similar at the table. WASH YOUR HANDS WITH A MILD SOAP AND WARM WATER WHEN DONE. If you plan on doing another gel manicure right away, avoid using any lotion. Acetone is extremely drying, and you'll end up with a white residue on your fingers that you can easily wash away. br>br>Some manicures come off faster than others; if it takes you up to 10 minutes, you're probably wearing multiple coats (like me). Yes, you can do both hands at the same time (with larger glass containers), but I find it impossible to turn the pages of my kindle or drink my coffee with two hands in the stuff. It's tedious to not use BOTH hands for ten minutes or so, so I do one at a time when I'm sure no one will bother me. You should never need to go longer than 10 minutes if everything is done properly. br>br>I've tried the cotton ball and foil thing (stupid looking and not as effective and difficult to do on your own), and the peeling it off thing (ruined my nails, so I stopped), but this is the method I've been using for over a year and it works great! WHALAA! br>br>WHALAA! br>br>WHALAA! br>br DONE, DONE, DONE, DONE, DONE, DONE, D br>br>Here's your welcome: br>br> )br>br>PLEASE DO THE NEXT MANICURE;.

Not pure
3/5

It has a chemical that causes denaturation. pure acetone 100%, according to the manufacturer. Denatonium benzoate, a denaturing chemical, is present.

Leaks in the packaging I'm sure the product is good, but the packaging is awful
3/5

There was a pool of acetone in the inner bag, and the outer box was saturated. Not only is it dangerous to ship such a product, but I also lost a product for which I had paid money. Very let down.

Although the product is excellent, the packaging could be improved
3/5

The packaging, while good, is a letdown. Because the lid twisted open a little during shipping, I lost a good portion of the product. I wish I had purchased the entire bottle.

I dislike that I had to pay extra to get the SNS nails because I prefer them
5/5

This has saved me a lot of money because I prefer SNS nails and I hate having to pay extra to remove them, but with this acetone, I can do it at home with ease!.

This is not salon-quality hair! Avoid!   I honestly believe this is salon-grade acetone that has been repackaged from industrial acetone
3/5

Take a look at the mess it makes! There is no residue with salon grade pure acetone! As a licensed nail technician, I can tell you that. This product should not be used.

For my nails, I love this Acetone! This Acetone is fantastic for my nails
5/5

It easily removes my three-week-old nail polish! I also do my own gel nails and find that this method works better than using professional acetone! I tried going organic, but it wasn't as effective, and I had to spend so much time rubbing and rubbing until my hand became tired. I don't have to rub as much now that I have this. This is without a doubt the best Acetone I've ever bought. I would strongly suggest it and would purchase it again.

On the carpet, I was able to remove a massive polish stain
5/5

This remover for nail polish is incredible. br>br>Basically, I have this tote in which I keep all of my nail polish. I must have thrown it in my room one day, because one of the purple bottles at the bottom of the bag broke, bled through the bag, and left a 2 inch nail polish stain on my apartment's white carpet. br>br>I honestly thought I'd never be able to remove all of the polish, but this method worked like a charm. I scrubbed for about 30 minutes with an old white sock, and the stain was completely gone by the end. There was not even a smidgeon of a purple hue. I took pictures, but I lost my phone (which was truly amazing; I wish I still had them to share). br>br>After that, I used it on my hands and feet to remove regular polish. It removes the polish quickly and effectively, even faster than Cutex polish remover. It does a little bit of drying around my cuticles, but no more than any other acetone remover. br>br>I've had the same bottle for almost two years, and it's only now nearing the end of its useful life after moderate use.
