The gems never became "dark" in my opinion. They kept their shine, and the length of time the gems stayed on the nail was determined by the type of glue used.
You can if you want, but I doubt they'll stay on for very long. If you're using regular polish, I'd recommend a Mia Secret resin, and if you're using gel polish, a hard gel/glue gel.
Most nail glues on the market will work, so don't worry. To fix the rhinestone on the nails, instead of using glue, use clear top coat nail polish as the bonding agent. This method is acceptable, but it is not believed to be as effective as glue. br>I hope you find this response useful.
In my opinion, there is no need for glue when using rhinestones in nail art; I simply use clear top coat nail polish as the bonding agent to keep the rhinestone in place. While the polish is still wet, I apply one coat of my favorite top coat to the nail and place the rhinestone where I want it with a wax pick up tool. Let dry. After that, apply two coats of top coat, allowing each coat to dry in between. Apply a new coat of top coat every two days to keep it looking good. If you want to use a gel top coat but don't have a UV light, you'll need to purchase one.

I wish I could have given this product five stars because the wax pen and tweezers were fantastic. It made the application process a lot easier. It also came in a box, which I liked. However, there is no way this could have come with 1500 crystals or even close to that. Almost all of the contents of the box were visible. If the total number of crystals is 1500, each container will hold 125 crystals. I counted them to make sure I wasn't giving them a bad review for no reason, but each container held anywhere from 40 to 80 pounds. Each container had a different number of crystals in it. That is my only criticism of this product; I wish it had come with the amount it should have, especially considering the price.
It's fantastic that it's packaged as a kit. The wax pen was fantastic, even better than I had hoped for, and it was incredibly simple to achieve the desired results. The crystal rhinestones are absolutely stunning. I'd buy it again without question.
The rhinestones are cute, and the picker easily picks them up, and it comes in a small carry case.
I've used it on two different home manicures, and the gems outlasted the nail polish (I'd never use gel on my natural nails). I liked having the choice of clear or holo kaleidoscope gems, and I used both in different sizes. What I like about these gems is that they have true flat backs, which means the gem stays stuck to the "back" foil part, resulting in less fallout. My cheap behind had gems applied once at the salon, but they all fell off within the first three days of moderate use of my hands in the same way. I LOVE the cute wax pen (I use the white part to pick up and stick/hold down gems, and the other side to precisely apply dots of nail glue (you could also use topcoat, but it won't last as long). Also useful are the tweezers. I painted my nails in the pearl three days ago, and the gems are still shining brightly today!.
I used these on my eyes and they're great, and the applicator is simple to use. The stones were adhered with lash glue.
My new nail art favorites. Nothing was broken or missing, and everything was brand new. The beauty of gems is indescribable. There are two of them; There's a iridescent sparkle, as well as a mirror sparkle. Inside the wax pen and black tweezers are pink sparkle gems. Everything is fantastic.
The rhinestones have a flat back and are exceptionally sparkly. I'm pretty sure I use them every time I do a set on myself or someone else. I would strongly advise you to try these. You get a lot of them, and even if you don't use them all, you'll have a case to put more in, so it's a win-win situation.
