I'm a huge fan of the flakes! They're stunning and caught my eye as soon as I took them out of the package. With the exception of the pastel almond-looking box, I think the little rhinestones are a little dull. They catch the light and reflect it in such a lovely way. I was a little disappointed, especially since this was my first purchase and I'm just getting into nail art. Who knows, though. I haven't tried it yet, so maybe a top coat or something will bring it up to par. br>br>I haven't tried any of them yet, so this is my first impression! When I've had a chance to try them, I'll update this review.
It's a lot smaller than I thought it would be. Don't be fooled by the photos' optical illusions. To get a realistic idea of how small these items are, I recommend getting a tape measure and measuring out as shown in the pictures. I gave a two because there were two items I actually liked, the flakes and the colored leaves only because the colors were very pretty. Rhinestones are colored plastic, so don't expect much sparkle effect. I had to look it up to realize the possibilities with so many foils, and now I can't wait to give it a try! Although some reviews complained that the stones were too small, there are several sizes and a wide variety (5 cases with 10 sections each) to choose from. I can't wait to try everything out! As someone who bases all of her Amazon purchases on reviews, I knew I had to give this set a review! It was well worth the investment.
