I've never tried it, but I'm guessing it's not possible. To remove the gels or dip powders, you usually use acetone. The plastic would be ruined. However, I'm sure you could take off nail polish with care.
Yes, it can be exposed to ultraviolet light.
Swatches are labeled with a fine tip permanent marker.
They're not made of the right material, they're too thick, and they're all the same size, and the curve isn't natural. Using them as a nail tip would be a bad idea.

I'd previously purchased swatch sticks from another seller, but I figured I'd give these a try because they were a little less expensive at the time. Unfortunately, the swatch sticks I received (shipped by Amazon and sold by Treamlyn Direct) do not match those advertised. Despite the fact that the photo depicts the length and shape of the swatch stick to be the same as the ones I already own, they're square on the ends and 8mm shorter. br>br>If you're new to swatch sticks in general, these are just as good as any other swatch stick, albeit a little shorter. I wouldn't buy these if you already have swatch sticks that look similar to mine and want them to match.
These swatches were a great purchase for me. When I'm ready to do my nails, it's so much easier for me to decide on a color. (These swatches were done with dip powder. ) )br>br>Overall, I am pleased with the swatches' quality. They're light and airy, and they really show off the color. For the price, you get a LOT of swatches! My daughter even used nail polish to create some of the designs.
I prefer to keep my nail polish in the linen closet rather than on a shelf or in a drawer where it will be exposed to light or knocked around, and it will help keep my vanity space less cluttered. br>I just did two coats [except for a few, like a sheer matte neon, which I usually do three coats] and a layer of topcoat, and I did one nail as a french tip, which you can see when you hold it over your finger, though you can't really tell on the nail by itself. Even though it is not visible in the photo, I went in with a sharpie and labeled them with the brand/color name; it does help if you have a lot of colors that are similar. The entire thing can then be stuffed into a drawer or hung from a drawer knob or a picture hook. br>br>Extremely simple to use and displaybr>Easy to take and match polish to outfitsbr>9/10.
I usually place orders with other sellers, and when I do, I make sure that everything goes smoothly. Neither the length nor the shape of the swatches are consistent. br>br>These are my favorites in terms of length and shape (who needs a long handle anyway?). ) and the swatches are perfectly shaped and free of deformation. The actual swatch does not need to be filed!.
Specifications for products are often incorrect. There are only four of these swatch sticks. It's a 5" rather than a 4'' length. 9" in length, as described and depicted in the listing. If the longer swatches with the rounded end are what you're looking for, don't order. These are the ones with the square ends that are shorter. I'm irritated because the description was incorrect, and now I have to go through the hassle of returning these so I don't lose money. They aren't expensive, but they have taken my hard-earned money through false advertising and are now wasting my time in trying to resolve the issue. br>br>These are fine if you don't mind having matching swatch sticks or are just getting started with your collection, but be wary if you were looking for the longer rounded ones that were advertised.
They arrived in a well-packaged box and were of acceptable quality. They are, however, shorter than the average swatch stick, so they will not fit in with the rest of my collection!! I guess I should've double-checked. However, they can still be used for practice. Before you go out and buy these, double-check the length.
It had been a year since the pandemic began, and I was still doing my own nails. I invested in a UV light and have a sizable polish and powder collection. I'm transforming into a self-taught nail technician! This was incredibly simple to work with. I no longer need to swatch colors on a piece of paper before doing my nails. This will save me time when it comes to selecting colors.
I wasn't sure it would work because of the shiny finish, but it does. "Oh so you just have an entire salon over there now," my friend said. br>It's true. yes I do! br>br>Please accept my apologies for some of my photo finishes. It's not the fault of the swatches; I was in a hurry and applied the wrong top coat to my nails, which resulted in a gritty appearance.
