yes!
Yes, you do, unfortunately!
Because it's acrylic, you can do a nail overlay with it.
I don't have a UV lamp in my house. After applying the base coat, the finger is dipped in powder, but instead of dipping, I sprinkle the powder. By the time I'm finished with my pinky, my thumb nail is dry. The top coat takes approximately 2 minutes to dry at the end. I'll never use regular nail polish again.

I was blown away. For a color acrylic, it glides on smoothly. I used my Mia secret monomer and got fantastic results; it did take a little longer to dry than a clear or "pink" acrylic, but the results are well worth it, and the extra time to perfect your application is beneficial for beginners. I really like the colors, and the glow lasts a long time; I've woken up in the middle of the night to find them still glowing!.
Because of how slowly it dries, I don't think it's suitable for beginners. You'll have to shape the acrylic for a long time because it moves around as it dries. It definitely has a nice glow to it, and it also appears to be very smooth! The colors are also stunning. Because of the slow drying time, I would recommend applying a thin layer of your regular clear acrylic to natural nail areas before applying this on top, as I suspect it won't have much hold power and will lift on its own.
I like how this sets because it isn't too runny but also doesn't set too quickly, allowing you to shape it.
These acrylics are lovely, and the glow is lovely, but they're quite small for the price, and if you use one color for an entire set of nails, you'll run out of it before you're finished. You'd only be able to put it to one use. If you're using two or more colors, you might be able to squeeze in one more set if the next set is also with different colors, but that's about it. Other than that, I'd recommend buying these acrylics with the mindset of experimenting with the colors to see which ones you like best, then buying a larger size; they're beginner friendly.
I'd never used acrylic powders before, only polygel, so I purchased this set to spice things up a bit. As a newbie, I found the application a little difficult, especially on myself, but as I continued to do the rest of my nails (I only used "Innocence"), it became easier. The blue is stunning, and I'm so glad I chose it as the color for my first set! br>br>My only complaint is the limited number of colors available. There are only a couple of options. Each color is 35 oz, and I only have about a quarter of Innocence left after doing an entire set on myself (albeit a moderately long set). Overall, if you're familiar with polygel, I believe it's beginner friendly. The colors are stunning, and they glow brilliantly in the dark - With the exception of "Mystery," which was to be expected. I wish there was more product, but for my first time working with acrylic powder, this set of powders has exceeded my expectations.
So far, I'm in love with the pink-to-blue glow. When my nails are glowing, the blue makes it look like they're shooting ice out of them. I also combined them with another Savo and acrylic glitter to create a hombre effect, and the blue shines through the glitter. I'll upload the video and photos as soon as possible. I also got a random pink to blue glow nail dip powder. I don't have the materials to use the nail dip powder, but if I run out of acrylic powder, I suppose I could invest.
I haven't used it yet, but the bottle is about the size of a quarter!.
I've trained myself to use the dip powders, and I wouldn't go back to using anything else.
