Questions & Answers
Mine, too, remained unchanged in color.
It all depends on how you submit your application. In most cases, at least two weeks are required.
It all depends on how thick or thin the poly gel is applied. These go well with the nail forms that come with the kit. When used properly, it will last at least two weeks without cracking or breaking.
I didn't receive my package either, and they said it had been shipped but didn't specify when it would arrive or who would ship it. Why did I pay 14 dollars to a company when I already have Amazon Prime, and then they don't send you a package you ordered from them? The real question is, "How do I get my money back?"

Let me tell you, I saw an ad for Polygel nails and was immediately interested. I got this along with a little electric nail drill ($15) and a 48w UV lamp ($23) (required to cure your Polygel) all from Amazon Prime. My bf thinks this is just another one of my new obsessions/hobbies because I have a habit of wanting to know how something is done, how it works, how it's created, and so on. Before placing my order, I watched a LOT of YouTube videos. LonghairPrettyNails on YouTube even shows how to make your own color Polygel by mixing a little of this with a gel polish, but she made applying Polygel look so simple that I decided to give it a try. I was concerned about the small bottle sizes, but a little goes a long way with this product. I did maybe two practice nails on my 8-year-old (practice on yourself or a willing lab rat) and they came out so well that I went ahead and did my own. One thing I like about it is that I don't have to be concerned about someone clumsily removing my natural nails. I did them first with the nail forms, and all they needed was a light buffing with the hand file. They were certainly adorable, but I could see too much of my natural nail through them, so I added more Polygel on top and shaped it with the brush. As if it were acrylic powder, slip it on. I was apprehensive about doing this part, but it turned out well, with some drilling and buffing required. In terms of seeing the nail, some of these are translucent, but the 'light apricot' color can be opaque when applied thickly enough, and it's a lovely natural nudepink. Also opaque are the nude, light pink, and white. In any case, they came out beautifully. I did them better than the majority of the nail technicians I've visited. DO NOT FORGET TO APPLY THE BASE COAT. It was left on one nail for about an hour before it popped off. Overall, it is well worth the investment. I've gotten compliments on them, and my sister doesn't believe me when I tell her I made them myself. After I mentioned how light weight and non-damaging these are, a few people asked if I could do theirs for them. I'm definitely going to practice more and buy more! br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I'm not sure when I first wrote my review, but it's now July 7th, and my nails are still holding up just fine; perhaps the ladies who say theirs are breaking aren't curing it long enough! I'm not sure how well mines are holding up, so don't give up and waste your money. Try putting a nail on and curing it in the UV for just long enough for it to stick, maybe 20 minutes. 30 seconds, then cure for 2 minutes before flipping your hand to the other side and curing for another 2 minutes. Cure for 1 minute before applying whatever you're going to put on top (polish, top coat, etc. ).
Until now, I've never been more pleased with my at-home manicure. Yesterday, I completed my first polygel set, and I am completely enamored with it. I couldn't get the hang of the dual form, so I substituted Orly nail forms that I purchased from Sally Beauty. Working with the polygel and learning how to manipulate and work with it was a lot of fun for me. This is my first experience with gel products, and I'm hooked! I took my time because it doesn't harden until you nuke it, but I did notice that it can droop and move out of place slightly while doing the other nails (it's barely noticeable how much it moves). It would have been a simple fix to give each one a quick 30 second cure before moving on to the next nail, but this is my first time, so we'll see how long they last!!.
This is an incredible product. I'm a complete novice and had no issues.
After watching @LongHairPrettyNails' youtube review, I decided to give this kit a try. I was a little concerned when I received the polly gel tubes because they were so small. A small amount, on the other hand, went a long way for me. My only gripe is that the bottle of slip could be a little bigger. As a beginner, the poly gel and dual forms take some getting used to, so you'll have some that need to be remade, and you'll need more slip to spread it out. br>Overall, I love this product and was able to do a full set and look like I had just left the nail salon.
Only gripe is that it's sticky, so keep that brush wet, ladies! Aside from that, there were a few minor hiccups along the way, but overall, it was a fantastic experience with excellent equipment. I documented the entire process on my Snapchat stories, which have received over 700k views and are being viewed by a large number of people. I've been getting a lot of questions about it.
The rest was a breeze. br>br>The polygel is sticky, but the slip makes it easier to work with and mold. All you have to do now is figure out how much to use and how to apply it. br>br>The bottles are a little small, and I'm not sure how long this kit will last me, but there are plenty of color options. The light pink and changing moods are two of my favorite features. The colors are bright and appealing. I haven't tried the clear or white yet, so I can't say anything about them. br>br>I've attached two photos from my first attempt. Don't mind my hands and fingers; I'm in desperate need of cuticle oil. br>br>I usually paint my nails with acrylics, but I'm curious if polygel will hold up as well. and it's been holding up so far! At work, a nail or two usually breaks, but not this time! This kit is great, but I wish there were more than 15ml in it.
Let me explain why this is necessary. br>1. 2. It's incredibly simple. br> Have a good time making your ownbr>3. 4. Quick (requires UV lamp)br> Acrylic can be left on for a very long time. It's painful to get rid of them. These aren't like that. They don't require any glue and are extremely long lasting. You can remove them, but it's not the same as acrylic. They'll last you at least a week, which I like because I can change the color if I get tired of it. It's similar to getting a salon fill.
5. This is the SECOND time I've ever taken a picture like this. I'm ecstatic with the results. If you use too much product, it will ooze out. It takes a lot of practice to get good at something.
