Typically, it depends on the brand of gel nail polish. Some of the polishes I've tried take 30 seconds to cure, while others take 60 seconds to cure, and some can take up to 90 seconds to cure, but most take between 30-90 seconds to cure. Depending on the brand, this could take up to 60 seconds.

I figured I'd take a chance on Amazon and buy this LED/UV lamp. I figured why not, since the other reviewers had given it a good rating? After finally receiving my lamp and using it on my clients, I've concluded that this lamp is probably one of the most inexpensive lamps I've ever owned. It's very light and feels like a plastic toy for children. I also believe that in order for my clients' hands to fully cure, I must place them in this lamp two times. You'd be better off saving a little more money and purchasing a long-lasting LED/UV lamp. @crxstalnails is a professional nail technician with a lot of experience.
Love it. It has a nice weight to it. I really like the countdown, and it works well with the 60-second countdown to completely dry the gel.
As a result, my new and (! ) The Professional UV LED Light for Gel Nail Polish does an excellent job, and I am very pleased with it. I bought it after hearing about it from a friend, and now I'm going to tell all of my friends about it.
Pros: Lightweight, simple to use, effective in curing gel polish, convenient timer settings (10, 30, 60 seconds), unique purple design, no setup required, and low price. br>br>Cons: The bottom easily detaches, the motion sensor is ineffective and inconsistent, and ***the lights stopped working after 6 months (the timer continues to work, but the bulbs do not). Overall: **
br> It was a good deal, but I wouldn't buy it again because it wore out so quickly. It's no longer useful. Customer service reminded me that it was way past the return date.
The auto sensor is fantastic. This light is perfect in every way! There are four different timers to choose from: 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds, and 99 seconds It's not too heavy. The bottom easily pops off, allowing you to paint your nails with it. When you place your hand in it, a sensor turns the light on automatically. The cord appears to be long enough to be plugged in from a distance. It has the appearance of being a lovely purple igloo. You must remember to unplug it after each use because there is no on/off switch.
I liked this light a lot; it's a good size, and I thought it was a good deal. The preset timers, on the other hand, have issues: the 10 second timer no longer works for some reason, and the longest setting of 120 seconds has never worked properly. It's as if the power level shifts halfway through and the cure is no longer effective. If I want a longer cure, I'll have to hit the 60 button twice.
It also appears to be spectacular! Your hands, however, will be burned. They claim it will not happen, but it does. I bought it after reading a positive review and seeing a video of her using it, which convinced me that it wouldn't burn. No, it has such a high wattage that it immediately heats up your hands when you plug it in. I'm returning it and replacing it with the Melody Susie all-black lamp, which has a lower wattage. There will be no burning because the top will not become too hot, and it will be more open and convenient to use.
I've only used it once, so I can't comment on how long it will last, but I'm very happy with my purchase! I spent days scrolling through Amazon, looking for a new LED/UV lamp, and finally decided on this one based on the positive reviews. It's a powerful little guy (and should probably be protected from the sun), but it worked great! My nails were quickly healed, and I was very pleased with the results of my first application! I also apply OPI gel polish to my nails.
