Questions & Answers
Yes, absolutely! You can mix and match any of the Beetles' colors. You can also create your own custom colors by combining mica or pigment powders with clear acrylic powder. When you add white acrylic powder to your mixtures, you'll get a more creamy color instead of an opaque one. My favorite dip powders are a combination of mica, glow powder, and clear acrylic powder that I created myself. My nails are glistening. To get the brightest glow, use LIT glow powder.

For a deeper color, I usually apply three coats and use top coat to seal the tip of my nails. I'm experimenting with different techniques to learn how to make an ombre nail. These powders are fantastic.
Beetles nail products have become a favorite of mine. I think I've bought six or seven of their kits at this point! You can't beat the price for the quantity of dip you get. br>br>I also like that the jars are big enough that the dip powder doesn't have to be filled all the way to the top. Many businesses use the smallest jar possible, fill the dip to the jar's top, and make it impossible to dip directly in the jar. The jars used by Beetles are large enough that you can dip right into them. br>br>The colors are lovely, and they last a long time; I only change my manicures every two weeks. I haven't had a chip or a break in three weeks. With the exception of nail growth, they look just as good in week three. br>br>If you're new to dipping, like me, and want to give it a shot without breaking the bank, I highly recommend them.
I'm in love with these; they're my second set, and I'll be ordering more soon!.
A few pointers. LOVE! It's simple to use, and you can even mix powders to create new hues. I'd suggest doing three of them. I would apply four coats and then file it down to the desired shape; after filing it down, I would reapply the activator before applying the top coat. This way, it won't be too thin and will last longer once you've completed it!.
For the money, this is a fantastic purchase. It's simple to apply, doesn't require many coats, and the colors are beautiful. I have a lot of beetles powders, and if I had to make a criticism, it would be that some of the colors are deceiving, i. e. The red in the photo appears to be more of a coral in the jar and even when applied, but it is more of an orangey red once step 2 polish is applied. But, overall, I would strongly suggest this product!!.
The color is very bright, and the coverage is adequate. However, they take longer to cure/dry than any other brand I've tried, causing color transfer to my brushes between coats and smudging when brushing off the nails that haven't completely dried.
*Recently revised* The powders were opened and used in three/twelve different ways. I contacted the seller, and a replacement shipment was sent out within hours of the first one arriving.
I'm a big fan of Beetles' products. I have several color collections, and these particular ones are not at all similar to the example. While some are lovely, others (like the pink—-) aren't. which is Barbie pink) aren't quite up to par. This collection gets a C for overall quality.
