For over 40 years, I've worked as a nail technician. This little unit is the bomb. My first nail light was UV and cost several hundred dollars at the time. br> It's not as durable as a salon chair, but it's ideal for use at home. br>Easy to use and light weight. I've tried poly gel nails, gel polish, and base coat so far, and all of them work quickly. topcoat. br>Excellent home unit.
It has a flimsy feel to it. It is very light. If you put the plug in the unit for safekeeping, as I do, the base detaches from the top with little to no effort and does not stay attached at all. And whenever I plug it into a socket, sparks fly out. And, just to make sure I wasn't going insane, I tried a bunch of different outlets in my house. I'll try it out on gel polish later and report back to you all.
I love this lamp because it cures everything and they even send a gift with it, which is fantastic! It's super cute because it's black with pink light! The only thing I wish was that the inside of the lamp was acetone proof, because if you bump your nail inside and want to clean up the gel with acetone, DO NOT! It'll get rid of the black on the inside!.
Except for the polishes, this kit included everything I needed for a gel manicure. It includes a lovely professional-looking lamp, a duo-head cuticle pusher, a fat nail filer, and ten gel remover clips. I think I did a good job, and this lamp was very helpful! I'm still trying to figure out which settings to use, when to use them, and why. If you don't know what you're doing, you could end up overcuring or undercuring.
My clients can use the thumb and pinky finger prints on the inside of the dryer to know where to rest their fingers. It works well and isn't too hot. Also, it's extremely light. So far, I'm really enjoying it. It is strongly suggested.
The timer is supposed to memorize the time you set, so you can put your hand back in and the timer will start over. That part didn't work, so I had a replacement sent to me; however, the replacement's motion sensor didn't work. I was told not to buy another after getting my refund because they are looking into the item because two of them were defective, so I'm warning you now so you don't make the same mistake I did.
This lamp is absolutely stunning. It allows me to properly position my clients' hands in the lamp, ensuring even curing. I am constantly repositioning my clients' hands in my old lamps. No one seems to be able to locate a cure for their thumb and pinky. This lamp is positioned perfectly for your pinky and thumb. br> I knew "I" would like it. However, I did not anticipate every single one of my clients ranting and raving about how much "they" adored this lamp. br>Great product.
I'm a professional nail technician, and I needed to upgrade from my current LED nail lamps. These lamps are attractive, but they are not suitable for use in a salon. They're light and have a nice fold-up handle, but they're not of professional quality. They lacked rubber feet, which would have kept them from slipping. Regrettably, I was forced to return.
