It's a canvas that needs to be painted. It's the same formula as the rest of OPI's top coats- Instead of a high gloss, this one has a great matte finish. It appeals to me.
I've been using it for a long time and have never had a problem with the polish changing. I only use lacquers, so I'm not sure how regular polish will affect it.

I put this polish to the test in a variety of situations. I waited two days before applying the top coat, and once it was applied and dried, small bubbles would appear. I love how smooth and perfect the matte finish is, and how quickly it dries. However, this product is a little pricey, and after applying hand lotion, the finish becomes less matte, and the result isn't very long-lasting unless you take good care of your nails.
