Due to its great price, I decided to buy this duo. This is what I thought at the time. A green exfoliant is finer than a tan one. I felt that I had soft, smooth skin after using the tan mitt. It's all about the smooth skin! This is a highly recommended book. The green mitt is much coarser and I used it 3 times, and it fell apart. I was very Fraying of the stitching around the mitt caused the stitching to open up. The deal turned out not to be as good as originally thought. We'll throw it out in the trash! A minor update In the early morning hours of 5/8/20, this company contacted me directly and sent me a green mitt for testing. 11/4/20 Used my new green mitt for the first time. It has been about 6 weeks since I started using it. I think it's in tact. My husband literally cannot stop touching my skin. With either a green or tan mitt and a good hydrating lotion you should be good to go. It's so nice to see them! It was fun to give it a second chance!.

Those mitts smooth the skin like no other, but the first time you wet them, they shrink up so much that you can barely get your hand inside the mitt.
