I keep these in my home as a staple. They come in a single pack, so everyone in my family can have one, and they all fall in love with this product as much as I do. These sponges are soft on the soft side, but their white side is rough and scratchy on the white side. If you don't like soft sponges, then my review may not be helpful for you. I like my sponges really, really soft, so this review may not be helpful to you. It's possible that as I use these more, they will soften a tiny bit and become less scratchy, but most of the time I prefer to use another sponge when I shower because others that I own are much softer.
