Here is where there seems to be some confusion. What makes satin unique is the way in which it is woven. No matter what materials the fabric is made of, polyester or silk, satin will still stay elegant.
This item is for girls, not adults, so I don't know what the answer is, as it is for adults but I bought the adult size and it fit me perfectly.
