Questions & Answers

Do you sell solid-color caps made by this brand, or do you make them yourself? I can't find it anywhere, and these prints are far too girly for me?

Caps with prints are the only ones we have on hand. There will be no solid colors.

Is there a way to clean it?

Because there is no terry on the inside of this one, I simply wipe it clean with a face cleaning cloth or rinse it with warm water and soap. This is my travel shower cap (smaller to pack), but I also have a Betty Dain cap with terry cloth inside that I use on a daily basis. I hope this information is useful.

My hair is thick and long, and I have a lot of it. Would this cap fall off if I wore it to bed with my hair pulled back? Is it extremely constrained?

It's not going to fall off, in my opinion. It's roomy, and the elastic band is snug enough to keep it from slipping, but it's not too tight.

Because I have a small head, I'm curious if the shower cap's elastic is tight enough. What about the elastic's resistance?

I, too, have a diminutive head. The elastic was uncomfortable because it was too tight. It was too tight for me to wear. It's far too uneasy. Although it was described as oversized, what good is the rest of the cap if the elastic hurts? I requested a refund, which I got.

As advertised, it is not mold resistant
3/5

The shower cap served its purpose, but I purchased it with the intention of keeping it for a long time, and it eventually became moldy, forcing me to discard it. I'm giving it a one-star rating because false advertising is a pain. Is it mold-proof? Nope!.

The size isn't that big
3/5

When my hair is stretched, this barely/almost covers my edges. If it were curly, I don't think I could do more than half of it. Despite being of higher quality than my current cap, it is still too small. br>br>Update- My rating dropped from 3 to 1 as a result of this change. It's been less than a year, and all of the elastic has disintegrated. To use it, I must use safety pins. My previous cap had a long lifespan. I would not purchase this item again.

Excellent quality, and it looks great on even medium-length hair
5/5

This shower cap was precisely what I had hoped for. It was roomy enough to accommodate medium-length hair, as well as cute and well-made. The length of my hair can be seen in the photos. This is one I'm glad I got.

It was a waste of money
3/5

I don't have a large head or long hair, so it's too small for me. I expected it to stretch out, but I've had it for quite some time, and it hangs down over your face the entire time you're wearing it. This isn't something you should buy.

This is the product for you if you're Miss Frizzle; I gave it two stars because it's water resistant and has elastic to wrap around your head
3/5

In addition, the tropical print is quite appealing. In terms of advantages, that's all I have to say. br>Because it is so large, I only gave it two stars. If you have Ms Frizzle's hair, this might be the right fit for you. My ears, eyes, and most of my nose are covered when my hair is pulled back into a ponytail on top of my head and I let the cap fall to where it wants to be. I think I could get it almost to my chin if I let it. It's enormous in scale. That's not a big deal, but if you pull it over your ears (to keep it from leaking on the edges of your hair around your face), it slowly creeps down over your eyes like something out of a slasher film. If you're preoccupied while this is happening, such as when you're taking a shower and trying to do shower things, it will cover your eyes and begin to suffocate you. It's already letting any water from your face into the cap once you've corrected it. br>br>In conclusion, if you have a large head or a lot of hair, this is the product for you; if you are a normal person with a normal sized head/hair, look elsewhere or be prepared to fight this thing like a rug of smothering at every turn. br>br>It also mildews after a few months, despite my best efforts to dry it out each time, which is disgusting and strange.

This hat is ideal for people with large heads
5/5

Because I have a large head, the edges of my hair line would always get wet, but that is no longer a problem with this shower cap! It's also adorable in my opinion.

THE FOLLOWING ARE THE DETAILS
4/5

Wife declares: It is obvious that it is adorable. Those who want to know exactly what they're getting should look at the following: br>Shower caps are exorbitantly priced; At the very least, this one is made with some substance and attention to detail. The cap is made up of two layers: a fine outer layer of printed nylon and a thin plastic inner layer. At the outer edge, the pink piping creates a tunnel for the elastic, so the piping, rather than the elastic, will come into contact with your skin. A thin round covered elastic sewn on the inside of the cap (stitching through the two layers of the cap) results in a 2" higher "ruching" on the cap. I believe this cap will fit most women, but will not accommodate medium or large rollers; the model in the photo must have a small head, as the cap appears more bouffant on her head than on mine; I believe this cap will fit most women, but will not accommodate medium or large rollers; The distance between the front edge (forehead) and the edge at the nape of the neck is 18". The circumference of the opening is 15" when not stretched, but it can stretch to 18". 20" . and beyond, despite the fact that I'm feeling tighter. UPDATE: After a year of use, it's still great, and it keeps your hair dry. MAY 2018 UPDATE: 3 YEARS OF USE STILL AWESOME!.

This is a much nicer shower cap than the cheap plastic ones
5/5

When it comes to hair, I frequently skip it. I wash my hair every day, sometimes to save time in the shower, but mostly because it behaves better after a day or two of relaxation. I'd been using Sally Beauty's disposable shower caps (20 for $5) for years (well, the same one until it got a hole), but recently decided to upgrade to a nice, durable, and stylish shower cap for whatever reason. I debated several options before settling on this Betty Dain Fashionista cap, which was Prime, plastic lined, and appeared to be of good quality. br>br>There are several Betty Dain cap collections available, each with its own unique shape, feature, and design (some are terry lined, others appear to be bunchier at the top, etc. ). This review is for the **PEVA lined Fashionista collection**. br>br>* This is a high-quality shower cap. It's made of a soft fabric on the outside and a sturdy plastic on the inside. There are no stray threads, odd seams, or other flaws. It's not flimsy in the least, and the plastic inside is sturdy but not too rigid, sharp, or "crunkly. " It has no effect on the plastic-like appearance of the product. bag- your- When a person's head is hit by water, it makes a noise. br>br>* The cap is very comfortable and fits well, even when my hair is bunched up underneath it. For reference, my head isn't particularly large (a size S motorcycle helmet), but I have a lot of hair (it will touch my lap when I'm sitting) and it will stay in place when washing my face, etc. This is crucial because the cheapie plastic ones tend to slide around due to the weight of the water. br>br>* Water that falls on the cap's outside will bead up and run away. When I emerged from the shower, the surface was barely damp. I didn't completely extinguish it while I was in there, but it did get wet- When I reach for the towel, there are always little water pools on the cheapies that drip all over the floor. br>br>* Unlike cheap shower caps, the elastic "ring around the forehead" is not as noticeable. Because the fabric is doubled where the elastic is, this is most likely the case. Although there is still a mark, it is much less visible and fades quickly. The elastic area is soft and comfortable, but the thickness of the elastic pushed my ears out a little further than usual. I didn't deduct a star because I probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't been wearing contacts, but because I was wearing glasses at the time, I noticed that the ear-ring was a little loose. The proportions of space, arm, and elastic were a little tight. br>br>I don't think I'll ever need to replace this cap, but I'd definitely buy another Betty Dain right now.
